Ultimately mowbray will be judged on results and if he loses many games at the start of the season his job will be at risk and ultimately he will go.

Which begs the question what is the infrastructure and image he wants to build ? Easier for fans to believe & trust if they know what it is they are supposed to believe and trust in.
True .

That's the key and that's why I put one of the questions on the SCG questions thread - what's the longer term plan, 5-10 years. As in, what's the expectation of what they want the club to look like in that period in terms of infrastructure.

Exactly. believe you me , I truly hope T/M does succeed. however , we've heard all this , we have to sell before we buy etc before . haven't we ? not what you want to read/hear when the new season is upon us .

And how can sisu do that without paying customers? The club is limited in what it can spend thru ffp. Yes sisu can give the club money but that will only add to the debt thus lumbering us with them for longer. Every club sells players. Arsenal sell players and they make a profit and have cash reserves. It is what it is. The sun is shining. The football will be back soon. Let's just enjoy the ride.

Fans might be interested to know that a number of young Premier League prospects have asked their clubs if they can join Coventry on a season long loan
They believe they will get a chance to play in a team that tries to attack under a manager who gives young guys a chance
Be interesting to see which loans come off in the next couple of weeks

It wasn't. If it had been Sisu it would have been three weeks.

Three weeks to announce they have several sites in mind ? Or announce that they plan to announce something regarding this matter ? :)

Sounds promising if that is right! How've you heard this? (Not that I don't believe you!)

Give mowbray a chance. IMO he performed a miracle last year with us. And give him this season Also. He is losing fleck and vincelot because rival clubs are paying them more money. There is not a lot he can do about that.
They could have said no

Rome wasn't built in a day, but if you discard or sell some of your materials and work staff, the project is going to be made more difficult.

I've been sceptical of Mowbray since his favouritism of players hindered our promotion chances last year. Vincelot, Job, Martin, Fleck were all big players that he has (bar Fleck) been quite accepting in letting go.

We need to replace all of them and actually sign additional players too. It's a big task in a short space of time. Whilst we should be preparing to start the season, we will be concentrating on signing paperwork.

Mowbray has got a lot to prove to me if he is going to become the 'messiah'.

That's is why fans have to be realistic. We might have to go backwards to go forward. It is a mammoth task to rebuild a club and its infrastructure on a threadbare budget. If we have a sluggish start the last thing we would need is a knee jerk reaction. When he arrived I thought it would be two to three years before we started seeing the real benefits.

I trust Tm 100% and im Glad he is still here, lets just let him get on with it without putting pressure on him, i fear we will have rash signings who turn out to be shit, to appease the fans.

If your boss informed you that they turned down an offer where you'd double your wages, how productive would you be going forward?

Exactly we have to admit we can't compete with their wages. We need to maximumize the budget to quite TM. I Trust him 100% although I am shaky how close we are to the seasons start.

How do you know we couldn't double his wages?

To do so for such a player would have been a waste of money. Bad move by Bradford I think.

Sauce?

Ketchup or brown
Hmm, the most pertinent question on here today!

Ketchup with chips or a good hand made hamburger. I usually go with Heinz but I'm not a ketchup snob.

Brown sauce with a fry up or sausage sandwich. However, I do prefer Chef sauce.

However. My all time favorite...Tabasco! I do a lot of Mexican cooking and it's perfect!

How about you?
