Could otium have been set up with one intention and that is to buy out sisu when they sisu want out?
Ken, onye, and whoever set up a company on the back of sisu, sisu will not deal with hoff or whoever but will deal with these businnessmen.
So could otium have been set up ready for when sisu want out?
If wrong great it is just an idea, don't know the whole in's and out's of business but just a thought

It's more likely that, the debt to sisu gets transferred to this company and when the football club gets placed in administration, otium become a creditor..

And an interesting Theory too.
With our directors and CEO's wearing a different Identity tag on an almost weekly basis, its hard to keep up with who's who, and who outranks so and so,they will of cause know every way to remain Just within the law as financial matters are concerned.
In this light, isn't it a pity that they weren't adequately advised on the pitfalls, costs and logistics, of running a Football club.

Didnt KD say that Otium was actually owned by SBS&L ? Assuming this is correct.....

SISU dont own anything their investment funds that they manage do.

to transfer the debt to otium creates a debt from Otium to SBS&L. Basic accounts every debit has a credit both are equal.

CCFC goes bust owes Otium....... cant pay ...... Otium has no assets..... cant pay SBS&L Otium goes bust ....... SBS&L has no assets to repay £30m SBS&L goes bust...... SISU investors lose £30m....... SISU lose their management fee
That is why Otium doesnt make sense to me from what I know.

However ........If as fund managers SISU are prepared to let CCFC go to create a loss to match against profits in other ventures in their funds I dont know but could be.

Perhaps as the major creditors they expect as SBS&L to buy back CCFC debt free from administrators they appoint and then repay their investors that way i dont know, but i would have thought that could be challenged. But that could leave loans owed to the investors and a football club carrying no financial baggage which is steadily getting towards breakeven in finances (if not on the pitch)- would make it much more saleable or more likely to repay the loans.

As usual nothing financial is very clear at CCFC

Maybe the name is a clue?

Otium can be related to retirement and so could be related to either Ransons retirement from the club or sisu's retirement from the club or the clubs retirement from business.
But otium is also related to leissure time and could then be related to taking over the stadium and all its facillities.

It isnt easy to put an explanation out that is easy to follow ICHAN sorry - there is so little facts to actually go on. Guess what I am saying is that there are still various options available to SISU et al. It isnt a choice between carry on as we are or administration then new owners as some think.

All we can do is wait and hope things become clear (er)

My brother said this to me and I'm wondering if it could happen:

SISU make Otium the owners of CCFC then it goes into administration, then when new people take over they would have to agree a deal with the creditors to pay SISU back because they will be owed money. Is this a way of SISU making sure they get there money back or could this not happen?
