It won't be mccaan as we know he is signing.

No one knows. I love the mystery.

First of many I hope. Wasn't it his day last year we signed Armstrong. Think it was.

People keep saying that McCann is signing, but I've seen nothing from the club so it could be him.

I hope it is at least six signings all in one go hanging off TM shoulders but as I'm a ccfc fan it will probably be a damp squib

Perhaps they've announce this so early that they're hoping of having another deal done before 5pm. Just a thought.

Happy with Wilson coming in. He's played 200 games more than Reda so the situation isn't exactly the same as I'll play 3 games then my knee will ping off and hit someone in the crowd.

The 'signing' will probably be a book signing.
Julian Darby signing copies of his new autobiography - "I Was Once John Gayle's Teammate". Available in all good bookshops, and lots of rubbish ones, at just £19.99. Form an orderly queue.

he must have changed the title. I am pretty sure it was pencilled in as "i once hit the cross bar at old Trafford"

i'm delighted we are about to confirm McCann. He will be a big help for us until Jan. We wouldn't have got him if he was on a free and he will be a decent acquisition

Whoever it is can we not be negative about it as perhaps that why the club aren't actively signing people?

Even you Grendel. Even if it's Bigi, can you atleast try to be pleased? Then when the window closes we can have a grumble? :D

Why do you think fans negativity is a reason the club aren't signing people? If the club didn't do things because there's a risk fans would moan, they would literally never do anything.

I'm pretty sure if the club gave out free cups of coffee and a Kit Kat at a home game some folk would moan it wasn't tea and a Twix.

We are wrong to moan as the club is clearly going in the right direction under the fantastic stewardship of our owners SISU.

Glad i'm not the only old git on here then Dorset ;)
Will be down your way in a couple of weeks for a family holiday...missing the first 2 home games for the privilege although I will get to see the Air Show.

Dorset is a lovely place to live, Ranjit. However, if the weather continues as it is, you won't see much air show!

Hope we win the league this year so i can throw this in your face

I hope we win the league also, but we won't, we haven't got the resources unfortunately, although Yeovil did wonders a few seasons ago we don't have the quality and we are relying on TM to pick up what he can on the loans and freebies we've had 5 years in this division and never really threatened a play-off place, unfortunately don't expect next season to be any different.

To be honest Dorset, I won't mind too much if it chucks it down for the week. Not been for many years although we used to visit many, many years ago as a family with lots of good memories. Also a bit of a pilgrimage to my late Dad who introduced me to CCFC in 1966. Maybe a chance to visit some old haunts in the area, might even get up to Wimborne Road and across to Chandler's Ford to visit friends.

We are running on a shoestring again with our owners efforts channeled elsewhere.
We have no chance of promotion in reality.
But like the start of every season I'm hoping for a miracle.
The usual good start followed by no plan B due to lack of strength in depth will put paid to that.
