Hand on heart and sky blue goggles off.
Not an anti AT thread or anti sisu thread or anything like that.
How many actually now believe on a match day we can get a win here/ or at the very least a draw?
Myself I think 1 win and 3 draws upto new year.
Peterborough away for the win hopefully as I work amongst them.

Did think we were going to beat Brighton. Thought it was the perfect time to play them.

This is also probably the perfect time to play Portsmouth. Let's hope we put a bit more effort than we did last week.

I bet that somewhere in Portsmouth, there are some Portsmouth fans saying exactly the same thing about us.

having been proven wrong in november I look forward to being proven wrong again. I thought we wouldnt get any points last month - we got a whole mighty 1 point

So December ........ I reckon from the 5 matches we will get 5 points (including 1 win). Nowhere near enough as to have any hope we need double that in December :(

I reckon to survive we need 3 points on average every 2 games ish. Thats 27 games left and we need to win 12 of them just to have a chance. Will 49 points be enough ? Win ratio of 44%?

Dont see much evidence of that happening

Plus being xmas we all know how we perform over this period even when things haven't been as bad as they are now.:(

To be fair Ichan, this may well be the best time to face them. Their new manager has hardly set the world on fire, they got a decent result against Forest not too long ago, but have been inconsistent to say the least. They've got off-field worries of their own, well documented lately of course. Trouble is, it seems to be exactly this kind of game that we don't turn up for. Plus, they'll be out for blood after we did them home and away last season. Difficult to call this one. If we put in a performance like we did against West Ham, then the three points may be there to grasp. If we play like we did Cardiff, I think we'd be lucky to get a draw.

Just think they will be hungrier for it being at home and with there off field problems as well.
Knowing they could be deducted points they will know that teams like us they need to get points from if they do get some taken off them.
If it was at our place I think it would be a differant matter but down there just think they will be up for it more.
Hope I am oh so wrong though and hope I am proved wrong and the lads do turn up and get stuck into them physically but fairly and mentally get under there skin and last 90mins, as we all know come 90mins were knackered as a team and thats when teams really do get at us as they will be well aware what happens to us as a team.
