My favourite is
"They will come"

Bit of a frightening one really because it showed the complete misunderstanding of the impact of the decision

We've spent £70 million was a particular favourite of mine however , they omitted to disclose it was our own players being sold that allowed this . but , the top one for me has to be 'we'll be building a new stadium . that made me chuckle .

It is interesting how posting cranks up when it's possible that certain parties could look bad though isn't it?

Always a pattern.

Is this your Crytsal ball that there will be bad news again.
What is the pattern exactly and when have the sign up increased before which announcements?
Sign ups went through the roof when the news about the academy and wasps came out...I think that one was obvious.

Also the fact posting habits changed, random people who don't post started a lot. Users who hadn't signed in cranked it up.

At least i can say I'm consistently posting a lot, must would say shite! :)

Is that the only other time it's happened or does it happen every time something is afoot. Also have those sign ups just dissapeared after the event.
It reminds me a bit when you see the front page of the daily mail attacking Doctors, Nurses, Police, Teachers ect for been lazy, incompetent, corrupt. The headlines go on for a bout two weeks.
Then the Government announce a controversial cut or change to their working terms.
It's quite outrageous really

It's usually the big news, don't get me wrong there are people with various views who post consistently, some pop on and browse, some post here and there, some only bother with football.

You can tell with posting behaviour as well what they are up to, as if they throw the "freedom of speech" line as soon as anybody questions them it stands out... It's trying to discredit anything said on here, the same as if you believe the telegraph comments that everybody on here backs sisu...

A good example is the bloke who signed up as cov rfc around the time of the butts stuff... In the know signing up when wasps took over..

Did you know who in the know was.
I am not surprised by it to be honest or that bothered as long as their opinions at factually correct it is good to get the info.
I am pretty sure it will be happening from both sides.

Oh without a doubt, if somebody from sisu or the club does post they do a good job of hiding who they are.

The thing you have to think about is the info they are giving you, the info they want you to have.

People often mock it and say "why would anybody be bothered about talking to a couple of hundred users" though.

In fairness, he does at least talk about football.Even though he is always wrong and it's about thorn or macdonald. ;)

Would have had 60 goals out of McDonald by now at this level if we had kept him. We would just be putting him out to roost this summer.
Should have kept hold of Chris Hussey for that matter as well.
Just given me an use for a thread -)

No if people are employing PR companies. The PR companies wouldn't be doing their job if they were not on here.

That's what I don't like! Yes last or Steve who have supported ccfc for 40 years hate sisu. Shout about it all they want.

Spotty little bloke who has never been to Coventry signing up to sway fans opinion, or bloke signing up just to start rumours about people...

Just wish it was true. But they get shouted down for giving their opinion by certain people. And those that shout them down then certainly let you know what they think about all the other sides.

If you want to give your opinions you should listen to the others even if you know it is bullshit. Then trap them in a corner with the truth :D

On the other hand, people get shouted down the other way round. Look at six fields.

It goes both ways

Which part of what I said doesn't go both ways other than when about those you named?

Ah yes the Northampton fiasco. Where everyone that went on the hill was a wanker because of when a couple went up there gave abuse to those going in. All people going in were wankers because a couple of people going in gave abuse to those standing on the hill. Ah yes great days.

What about all those bloody traitors that went into the ground. Or all those that were killing our club by refusing to do anything that gave money to our club.
