The other thing that is now peeing me off is that he is saying that we are making too many individual mistakes at the back that is costing us goals.

He is missing the point. He needs to look at the other end of the pitch. We need to score at an average of more than one goal a game to have any chance and we should push up the field and try and attack teams more. We are playing possession football but are toothless and then are letting in silly goals.

Put the emphasis on attack and then just maybe we will win a few more games.

He is also saying he needs to do business in January, By January we will already be down.

And why are people on CWR saying that now Thorn sounds like he has had enough and he needs players.

Does he not know the transfer window is now closed? Why make a stand now? Nothing can now happen til January! Absolute tosh.

He nearly plucked up the courage to say " This can't go on with no investment we need players, I need backing from the board or there is no point" but chickened out sadly.

Coded message to SISU: "Pull yer fracking finger out and provide money for players!"

Quite. How people have mis-read such an interview is baffling.

Think he got as close as he could without saying "Ken is a tosser, SACK ME"

Not mis-reading it. I am saying why is he saying this now! The window is closed, nothing can happen til January. Why didn't he come out with this before the window closed! What point does it serve asking the board to back him when they now can't.

He never was or will he ever be a manager. If he does'nt get the sack very soon he will scar his name for good and will never work in football again. He will forever be remembered for being the manager of one of the worst sides in the last decade if not longer.
Who will ever employ him after this ? No-one is the answer. All the coaching credits he's got are down the shitter, his reputation is completely shot.
Can you imagine him giving any of the players a bollocking, because i can't.He seems mates with them not a leader of them.He could'nt manage a pub team, i can imagine him trying to teach his sideways style to a bunch cloggers , like most pub teams.
The bottom line is Thorn simply can not Manage a football team, he's incapable and not fit for purpose , simple, as much as it makes me sad to say it.

You obviously didn't see that footage of the post-match stuff that the club accidentally put on the website..I'm pretty sure he tears into players, but any one who is in management of any business will tell you that you can only use "stick" to motivate people a certain number of times before it becomes counter-productive.

he will get some money in January - from the sale of Juke, Clingan and Cranie - not much but some ------ but all too late for us - League One is a defo.

But he was talking about loans. What the hell is the point of loans? By Jan we will be down. What we will then need are transfers ready for a League One campaign. Loan players will serve no purpose at all unless they are loan to perm, but that's not what the club and manager have been talking about. It is all about quality loans from a Premier level etc.

I disagree I think it is just another pointless line he feeds the fans to keep them on his side. Like he always has to get his entertaining quote in. Anyway what is the point of trusting HIM to sign anyone -- his one signing is so unfit and useless he sits on the bench. Ken probably tells him what to say he is so clueless.

Probably another loan player pulled back from us because we havent kept to financial arrangements i.e. loan fee or wages if either were included, and they're using the 'ear injury' as an excuse

Good point. Never heard of an ear injury keeping someone out before, unless he means ear infection. That could affect his balance of course. When he says ear injury maybe he just means the lad heard something he wasn't supposed to have heard.
