BBC Radio Sheffield presenter saying we are considering making an offer.

I guess it would be on loan.

Mowbray spoke about some players maybe requiring a fee and this could be the deal with the compensation that would be involved.

Surely the priority is to bring good players in when the opportunity arises. Anyway isn't Reda ready and waiting on a stretcher in the wings?

We do need to be mindful though that other areas of the team might need strengthening first. even if a good player is available,it doesn't mean we should just go sign them.
if we are OK in that area then we shouldn't bring them in unless our budget can still enable us to bring in players for the areas we need most.

I am not panicking, but I can see an argument for strengthening defence, midfield and attack. It is clear that dross exists, but quality is harder to find within a budget. I would rather run with our own youngsters, but if an opportunity arises we should take it.

Would love to sign him. An Armstrong type player which is needed. Him and Sordell would be good. Only problem is they're 2 similar players

Would be great but don't get your hopes up, Bristol and Bradford interested gives us no chance

-how can we not compete with bradford
-they have fans
-we'd have fans if it wasn't for sisu
-we wouldn't have sisu if we weren't in shit already

save you all doing it again

He lives in Sheffield and Bradford is next door. The pull for him to come to Cov would be Mogga and not that funny Scottish guy.

Beat me to it.
You forgot we can't pay wages for any one who is already a professional footballer.

Stuart McCall is from Bradford.

I heard that Steven Fletcher got stretchered off for Wednesday on Sunday, could this put paid to any deal

I think it depends on the player, Bradford are crying out for a striker and might have a little more money than us, but their game is about being solid and not conceding - not necessarily that enticing to a striker looking to chalk up a big tally of goals
