2-1 Cov Jones & Vlad.
8,700 (800 Shrewsbury)

Not a chance of that really. Last season we averaged 12K and only dipped below 10K once. For the first home game of the season it would take something very weird to happen to go to 7900 home fans. 11K I'd say. Fancy a win too.

Reid would be a good option off the bench, Sordell, Ruben and Jones with Reid on for Ruebn about 55 - 60 depending on circumstances?

Cost will put some off, no doubt about it.

Gonna see who comes in before attempting to name team & formation, although hoping to
Get a look at Stevenson after the glowing reports the other night.

Cost? Why how much more is it compared to normal? £3? Are our fans living below the poverty line?

If you have a cheap seat and buy he ticket on the day it's a £1 more than pay turnstiles last season.

It isn't though. Last season it was £20 anywhere, this season it is £23 to £27 depending where you sit.

It shouldn't put many off really - the difference is a pint of beer. I'm one of those people who'll pay whatever they charge. Some people don't think like that. Bringing people through the gates is very important to this club at the moment. The same people moaning about people moaning about prices will themselves be moaning about falling gates as we go through the season. You can't please some people - they hail prices increases saying it is better to charge more and get slightly fewer people to attend games, and then moan like buggery when fewer people attend games.

I actually think the attendance Saturday will be OK though. Not so sure about Bury on Tuesday.

Good example is a guy I have just read

"Im not going on Saturday because of the queues"
"There is POTG or you can print at home"
"no thanks, it is too expensive"

Can't make it up. There will always be some other hurdle put there.

It isn't rocket science Nick, you put prices up to that extent less people will go. You might get away with it in the PL where demand exceeds supply, but in division 3 at a ground where supply well exceeds demand, it just isn't going to happen. That's incredibly naive.

Last season prices went down and gates went up considerably. This season prices have gone up to the highest in our history, and so gates will go down a bit. Not sure what the issue is and why people are moaning about that.

My point was people putting hurdles in the way. It goes from the queues, to pricing. No doubt if the price was £20 it would be the car park price, if the car park price was £3 then it would be something else...

the season tickets are on par with pre sixfields arent they? Last season was a massive discount, which didn't recoup the difference :(

How much is it compared to last season.
And yes I would imagine some are.

I can fully understand that and wouldn't expect anybody to put CCFC before food.

I am sure there are lots like my mate though who wont go unless he has £100 for beer, taxi and casino but blames it on the ticket price and it is too expensive.
