My point was people putting hurdles in the way. It goes from the queues, to pricing. No doubt if the price was £20 it would be the car park price, if the car park price was £3 then it would be something else...

the season tickets are on par with pre sixfields arent they? Last season was a massive discount, which didn't recoup the difference :(

Don't have an issue with ST prices actually. They are fair. Matchday prices don't make much sense. Pay every game and it comes to £529 for the cheapest adult seat and £621 for the most expensive. All I am saying is that attendances will go down as a result. Hopefully not massively, but they will and I think the club know that but have crunched the numbers and have calculated they might be a bit better off with lower gates. Fine. I do think it's a false economy long term though.

Hopefully the match packages will be good value and they allow people to purchase STs during the season, but that's not looking likely.

In theory, I'd be pushing people towards the Season Tickets / Match packages if they ever sort them out. Make it much cheaper to pay in bulk.

I could pay £20 odd a game or £35 a month for a season ticket, no brainer.

Cost? Why how much more is it compared to normal? £3? Are our fans living below the poverty line?
There is pay on the gate now, so cost will be the next reason to not go..
If you have a cheap seat and buy he ticket on the day it's a £1 more than pay turnstiles last season.
I go whatever the cost +my lad £60 petrol + another £40 on sundries, but that's not the point
Of course cost will put some off.
Aren't some of you already planning your 'packed lunch" because the foods gone up ?

Willis Ojala Harries

Rose Gadzhev Stevenson Haynes

Jones Sordell Reid

3-0 City

3x JOB OGs

Agree with this, particularly the score and goalscorers. Although Haynes did well the other night, I'd still stick in Page. I think that's the only change I'd make. Looking forward to having McCann in there for Stevenson - who deserves to keep his place for Saturday - and then we won't be a million miles away from looking half decent. Another striker, centre half, midfielder and right back to get us up to full strength imo!

If they sign more players I will put the other reasons aside and get a season ticket.

If they don't bring them on sale again after this weekend then they'll lose out on my money though. I'll go to some home games, but the fact is, inflated tickets, inflated parking, weaker team will all contribute to poorer attendances.

People are moaning and saying the fans are making the problems themselves, but it's down to the club ultimately. I didn't have a season ticket last year but ended up going to every single home game anyway because it was good value. I'm not a stay away fan, or one who shouts 'SISU out' from the stands, but I don't trust them enough to part with my money until I feel we have a strong enough squad to compete.

You only have until midday tomorrow to get one.

Your spot on, the match day attendances will suffer as there has been no real gain in season ticket sales.

I have taken a packed lunch since I have been apart from a couple of emergency sausage rolls. That's mainly because I would find alternative ways, the same as I wouldn't refuse to go because 1 and only car park's price has increased. I'd park somewhere else.

I reckon we will have about 9500 there on Saturday, there will always be people moaning about something, last year there was a clamour to have the finance package reintroduced, done so this year and I think as of about a month ago 40 or 50 people had chosen to take up this option...

It has to be more than that surely?

Ah so probably 500-600.

Even so, I would have thought more would take it up. £35 or whatever a month you can't go wrong!

For some strange reason, I am looking forward to this game on Saturday...... Lord help me!

Mind you, I am not driving for a change, so there will be a sneaky visit to the casino to take my pain killing meds called Amstel.

I am going for a 3-1 win and I won't remember who scored.

Not that this will be the team, but I would quite like to see the following:

-----------------RCC----------------
--------------Ricketts--------------
--------Willis---------Ojala(If signed)
Kelly-Evans---------------Haynes
------------------------ Rose---------
--------------Gadzhev----------------
-- Reid----------------------Jones--
-----------------Sordell---------------

Subs inc: Burge, Lameiras, Tudgay, Stevenson

I have switched Jones and Reid, as if they were to cut inside on their natural foot they could either take a shot at goal (get the crowd going), or drag the respective full-back out of position and allow the wing backs space to whip a cross in. I am far from Haynes' biggest fan, but he can whip a decent ball in, and Kelly-Evans against Nuneaton Town really got forward down the right well. My fear is that by playing Reid and Jones on their respective 'preferred' sides, this nullifies the attacking threat offered by wingbacks.

My premise would also be that when one of the full backs goes forward the other drops back to create a back 4, with Rose also offering some protection.

Like I say, it won't happen though

We might lose tomorrow, but hopefully we can get something. Anything a bonus as we aren't full strength yet

Hopefully Sordell will play, I think him, Jones and Reid may have goals in them. I dont think Reid is fully fit so Ruben I guess will start and then Reid for the impact about the same time (depending on the game).

Reid looked pretty sharp the other night. Play 75 minutes didn't he? I think you're right though, he'll start with Lameiras.

Club tweeted gate likely to be 11K tomorrow.

Why are we not at full strength?
This maybe our best team we have all season no one wants to come here :(

I'll say 2-1, Jones and Rose, with JOB scoring a late consolation goal.

Attendance 10,998 - you'll be two short I'm afraid, because my son's in Birmingham Children's Hospital and we're both gutted we can't make it. Likely to miss the Bury game too.

Sing your hearts out for us.

Sorry to hear it, hope he gets better soon!

Will they let him listen to it?

You have my word. I will be going and cheering them on to a win today. I also agree 2-1 and bring your son a bit of cheer.
