in all seriousness, given the PR spin that Nick talks about, if Wasps could have used CCFC to leverage more money or promote the deal wouldn't they have done it ?

Who says they didn't in the meeting? ;) I am sure it wouldn't have gone unmentioned about our matchdays and exposure. It would have been silly not to.

They are hardly going to put them on there as one of the reasons they came are they in the press releases?

that's what I am saying. CCFC will have been used when negotiating the contract and why wouldn't they.

They are not going to come out and say "yeah it all happened because of CCFC" though are they? ;)

(not that I am saying it did, just that they aren't going to let on that was a factor)

of course not, they want to promote their own brand. We are a tenant, like the hotel (which also doesn't get a name check)

Why is this even on the forum. Who gives a shit.

agreed. surely should be on the created sub forum. Its a thread about a sponsorship deal for a phone company talking about the ricoh, and not even mentioning CCFC, just its on here because it doesn't mention CCFC

Most businesses would want to maximise exposure. Whatever your views on Wasps move the name Coventry City is a lot more recognisable than Wasps Rugby or Wasps Netball.
I would think that to gain access you will have to register with Wasps...& everything will be Wasps themed on the login pages too so it's a constant reminder to all that use it. Good marketing to a captive audience on thier part.

It's only so they have a bigger list of people to send free tickets to.

I expect it will be just the same as logging-in in a Costa's or Holiday Inn or whatever. They then have your details & can get some exposure & offers in every chance they get.

Nobody seems to mind that though...but how Wasps can have the audacity to offer a service in THEIR stadium is beyond all irrational thinking Sky blues fans.
