Hmm. Not sure. Nice, pretty passing patterns and it all looks good, but there is a distinct lack of cutting edge at times.
Maybe I being a little harsh. Think only the Rose header gave me a sense that the ball might end up in the back of the net.
Been impressed with Rose. He may not be the best footballer in the world, but I love the way he ghosts into the penalty box and supports the attack.
Been our most threatening player.
Stevenson looking good too and Reid really lively.
Lameiras is just being Lameiras unfortunately. Perpetually the nearly man I would say.
He has the skill, but far too often there is no end product.
Shrewsbury seem to happy to play for a draw and hope to catch us on the break.

Good 1st half faded a bit towards the end.. creating some chances we really need to take them because 3 points are here waiting for us. Reid causing them problems laneiras in and out same as jones. Stevenson and ghadzev also quiet. BUT I WILL SAY HARRIES HAS BEEN CLASS SO FAR

I'm not over keen on the formation. It can mean that you create few chances and often not get enough in the opposition area. Also can get stretched at the back.
On a positive night the new signings all look good. The left side looks strong and Stevenson looks good enough to be at this level.
Ricketts doing well at the back.

Very good play and no one is having a bad game just no striker to score. Seems best chance is a corner or free kick.

I'd take a draw. We aren't ready yet, and a draw is a point on the board. For the 1st time in my life (i think) we don't have one striker on the pitch and we need some CB's. A draw would be a good result and we will push on in Sept

Think to score I think we are going to change it up top.
My change would be Tudgay or Thomas for Lameiras, unless he ups his game. Been onhis backside for the majority of the first half.

Lameiras is very very niche. Needs to play for a team where he's guaranteed a start at the tip of a midfield diamond otherwise his career is going to be bit-part at best.

Dominance for 45 minutes but nothing to show for it yet.
Everyone is performing well, Reid is particularly lively and Stevenson/Ghadzev are composed once again.
I'm sure there's lots more to come, but based on the first 45 not sure Page deserves the start ahead of Haynes.

Yep, not sure what type of player Thomas is but my issue with Tudguy is he too likes to drop in the hole. Think we need to get someone on those 2 centre halves and bash them about a bit. That will then create space for Reid and Jones. At the minute it seems to be those pair that are battling for the ball with their backs to goal.
