If AT had to go I would like him to go back as coach and replace him with Lawrie Sanchez. The last time we had one of the crazy gang we had our best finish in any division I can remember. Very experienced manager as well and would be cheap.

There's always applicants for managers and despite our current plight the Coventry job would be attractive to many. Do you think a Hoffman or anybody else led consortiumn would stick with Andy Thorn because I don't. Things would be changed lock.stock and barrel in my opinion and geared up for an automatic return if relegated

I heard weeks ago soneone was earmaked for the managers job should the Hoffman bid succeed and was also told it would be a surprise. It's just a pity Hoffman couldn't talk to SISU everyday.

I think Dave Jones is the man i would want, plays the style of football we like, and can work within a tight budget as well as a lavish budget..

Another name that cropped up was Liam Daish,

Hes done a great job in Non league alot like Dean Saunders and Nigel Clough before him. If we are working under a very tight budget surely he would be worth a look???

Dave Jones ? not for me another nearly man and we have had loads of them. New broom entirely for me as was Jimmy Hill 50 years ago. Listening to talk sport i am always impressed with big Dion and his opinions but of course that doesn't make him a manager but someone modern, new and fresh for me, the club needs a new beginning.

No, the "My Football Club" scheme didn't ever deliver the things it promised. The original idea was the investors would vote on the team, who to buy, etc. None of that actually happened, as Daish woulda walked.

Agree about Jones-and he's always had a decent budget compared to ours. And still failed-he was expected to get Cardiff up.

As for Dion...I wonder how he'd cope when one of the players refuses to play because they've slapped in a transfer request, hmmm? If he darkens our door as manager, I will not be going again until he's gone. Which would probably be about 6 months.
