I would like to see one more striker in, even if it's a young premier loan. Too much pressure on one lad.

I know I sound like a broken record but Sordell looks quality from what I've seen(all be it littlr)

I think he can score thr goals to fire us to top. Of this burnley lad does it too thrn bonus

When is Sordell due back, I thought he looked lively against Swindon
Thats been our problem since he has been out, or taken off. The lack of movement up front, its imperative the man in the middle has decent movement, this create space for the other 2 to move in. Shrewsbury especially were able to get tight on our front 3 due to this.

Yep, you could see in some of the openings created that Sordell was dragging at least one player out of position, it is imperative like you say that you've got a strong and mobile front man. I hope he's fit again soon.

I remember us offering a million pounds for a player then a football record, he went to forest, now we haven't got 1 million pounds

Strangely enough, after this we sold Ian Wallace for over £1m, things don't change that much really. We were a selling club then and we are now.

Good question, in the last 7 season's Sordell has only made 15 appearences more than Reda Johnson, however you could argue that in 2009/2010 Sordell was probably just breaking through into first team football (5 appearences)

Define a selling club? If by selling club you mean having to let our better players go to clubs in a better position financially, who pay more in wages and in a higher division, then most clubs are selling clubs....Christ the premier league champions couldn't hold on to their best player. But I suppose you believe that Wilson, Maddison, Chrisite, and everyone else were desperate to stay in league one with us on less money and didn't ask to leave at all...

I am realistic in that we are a selling club along with 99% of other clubs. I do not see this as a problem just the reality.

Positives, young decent players signing on long contracts, manager who doesn't seem to rush. A footballing guy now on the board rather then numbers people.

Jsb stuff, the Jimmy hill legacy stuff.

That's within a minute on my phone

What would you prefer? Sign a load of established league one players on 4 year deals? So that if we acheive our goal of promotion we're stuck with a load of players that aren't good enough on the books?

Great idea you absolute moron.

Can't get a game elsewhere? Like Jones who we beat others for his signature? Like Turnball who the saints fans were pissed off that we signed because they think he could be at least a squad player for them? Mccann who was solid with wigan last year, and we can only have for 6 months cause he's going elsewhere?

Thick as shit if you believe what comes out of your own mouth. Determined to be miserable and it all be someone elses fault.

My hunch is Mowbray will be gone at the end of his contract , He wont put up with this for much longer , Ok 1st point , as soon as those players show profit , they ll be sold , 2nd The manager has no choice , people are not queuing up to come to the club . 3rd , Venus on the board , we had Ray Ransom , lip service getting Mark to the board room . , Sisu have no long term plan , or else they would lay it out , Bull shitters , thats all they are , where s the new ground ?

He won't put up with what?

What's the ground got to do with anything I said? It's the same when people just shout where is the money over and over.

The long term plan is to live within our means and be sustainable. That means Wheeling and dealing and using rbr loan market.

Well your offering positives of which I disagree with , Mowbray is not a happy man , look at his body language , He s treading water , and he s sees that its up hill battle to get anywhere , The club is built on sand at present . I ve never mentioned where as the money gone , there is nt any money thats the biggest problem , But like OSB 58 said , make of the accounts what you will ? Im highlighting the ground , because yet again that is something they have not delivered .

I would agree but I would say that is the short-medium term plan.

The long term plan is for us to make a profit that they can get a big slice of to break even and offload us. Which is fine with me

Jeez some Cov fans are unbelievable , moan when we sign someone , moan when we don't .

Virtually every club in the land , bar the top 8 in the Premiership , loan players from other clubs .Yet if you read on here or social media you would seriously think we are the only club that does it .

Also look at successful clubs that are a similar size to us , they sign players with a view to developing them and ultimately bringing them through to their first team .However if CCFC look to do a similar thing with a player like McBean and possibly the young right back then we are doing the wrong thing .

This club isn't going to move forward until we become sustainable , from the academy , development squad and through to the first team squad .Mowbray , Venus and the team are building the bricks for long term future not a short term fix .We have been going slowly downhill for over a decade , it isn't going to be a 1-2 season job to turn us around and head us back towards the Championship and beyond it is going to take a minimum 4-5 seasons

If anyone thinks the job Mowbray is doing is a bad one and the signings ,and potential signings , are not with the best interests of everyone then I think you need to give your head a wobble .

Every club sells , we are buying players young who could be worth big money in the future as long as for every player that is sold we continue to bring in similar players and keep moving forward then I have no problem
