TM "we fell a bit short tonight. in the league we have been pretty good"

2 draws and 2 defeats pretty good? Right....

I'm seriously concerned that the future of City will be that of Pompey, which then bought around an interesting point:

If Seppala isn't investing in the club or promoting any growth forwards, is she trying to asset-strip city down?

Absolutely fuming after this performance. I knew we were probably going to lose but to concede 6 goals, to show no passion or fight or strength at all is inexcusable. And to top it off a large portion of travelling supporters APPLAUDED THEM! F%^K THAT! The only person I applauded is Murphy when he came over and gave us a wave. Poor old Harries had been thrown in at the deep end without a paddle and had a bad game, Reid had the worst game I have seen possibly ever from a Cov player (barely making a pass or a successful run in 45minutes) and RCC was hit and miss as usual too. Going forward we could have benefited from using the wide positions which often had heaps of time and space that was not used. And defensively we just need brute strength both in midfield and at the back.

our owners, imho, are NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE, Clarke(PR man), Dulieu, Brody, Clouting, Igwe, Labowic, Fisher, Waggott, what did they, or have they done to enhance CCFC

Relegation fight all season is on cards and no saying they are premier league because they ain't. If we had flukes it up last year we would have been a joke

Whilst I couldn't more this doesn't explain a 6-1 loss to Norwich B.

But that's what the other person was saying, what if we had been promoted up to the Championship?

Yeah I think I got that from his post even though it wasn't well written but I fail to see the point? We are not in the championship so what's his point?

If it's in reference to my earlier post (correct me if I'm wrong), what I meant was that generally there is a bit of an overlap between bottom end championship and upper end league 1. The Norwich team we played tonight are probably pushing the top end of that bracket.

If we want to be pushing the top end of league 1, a rough benchmark might be a competitive game against a team like the one we played today.

We got hammered, so what I was trying to say politely was that we aren't quite there yet.

7 of Norwichs starting 11 played either in the championship, league one or league two last season. The majority of those 7 in league one. (Jones - L2 ,Toffolo -L1, Murphy - L1, maddison -L1, canos - champ, andreu -champ, Thompson - L1)

Same thing happened against Arsenal away a few years ago. I don't care if we get beat 6-1 by the Harlem Globetrotters, no way am I applauding our lot if we get mugged 6-1.

Tonight proves we are a million miles off anywhere near a lower championship side although I will stick up for some players tonight in saying that they have just played Saturday Tuesday for 4 straight weeks and must be tired and losing every game and not scoring must be hard to take. No confidence. We are in a rut.

We clearly need a few signings of strength and power and a bit of luck and things can change but as it stands we are in for a relegation battle.

So, just like the players of all non-Prem sides who've had the same set of fixtures as us??
