not bashing , just a very simple question really .

seems a little odd that only a small section of the stadium actually sings or joins in , any clues as to why that is ?

I sit in block 20 and people do join in. It's not that many, but there's definitely some joining in going on.

Block 20 and always sing songs supporting the team.
Ignore anything that effects the players like Sisu Out even though I do want them out.

Didn't make any difference to the team at all and you know it

Why would I know it?
I could hazard a guess though that when playing poorly or loosing, that when we sing it, it means we are not happy with the players on the pitch.
If I was a player I would know exactly what it means.

They sang it just after we scored so they must have thought we shouldn't have scored they're not happy with us. Give it a rest I for one am glad that wasps are that concerned about it because city aren't

We should not sing 'Sisu out' during the match IMHO.

I thought the atmosphere was better than I've heard it for a while today tbf. fair bit of singing going on down in block 23 today too. Just gets lost and doesn't come across over the massive cavernous empty bits of the stadium

I'm too busy drinking my Moët & slurping down my oysters to bother singing with the riff raff.
How the other half live, eh!

You are obviously in the posh part of block 20. Moet and oysters? Good grief.

Where us lot are it is Vimto and Eccles cakes (and that's only on Christmas and birthdays). :(

Normal days it is chewing on the ends of our programmes and sticking our tongues out to catch the odd drop of rainwater dripping down from the stand roof.

Of course we shouldn't no other fans in the world would dream of showing the owners what they think of them.

Fucking disgraceful City fans at it again.
Maybe all those singing should stay away and then all the shitfields supporters can feel at home and crow about how good it is to have silence. And all the rest can moan about our shit support.
Fuck me can't win sing and we are putting of the team off or we are singing an embarrassing song.
well if you don't like it take some ear plugs.

Because we're not all weird cunts like you.

Strange ... That's probably the weirdest reply I've ever read on this forum to a very basic question , "why don't you sing at the match " " because we are not all weird cunts like you "
What a weird c**t you are pal

TBH I'm a bit embarrassed when we pathetically sing aboutTottenham and Chelsea when we are in the same league as Proud Posh and Cobblers

We're not in the same league as Proud any more. Now that is depressing!

Or do what most supporters do and stick to singing songs that support the team.
You canvas opinion from the stand up if you hate Sisu song. Most do hate them but most don't stand up.
We all want Sisu out but IMO when singing it during a match it infers the players provided are the not good enough. Hardly motivating.
You can do it, I along with the majority don't want to.

Clearly there is a divide between the teenage brigade in the 'singers' corner and the rest of us fans. It appears that constant repetition of a variety of SISU chants is creating a better atmosphere than songs actually about the club itself. My personal highlight was singing Bubbles at Millwall fans last season.... totally moronic and pointless. The reason us other fans rarely join in is to avoid embarrassment by association.

1. What don't feel they have yet got anything to sing about?
2. Freedom of choice?
3. Maybe they go to Karaoke or 'The Old Bull & Bush' to do their singing?
4. They are the football non-stereotypes & they are of a calm disposition?

...onwards & upwards PUSB

A contentious subject that strangely arouses (defensive) passion in those that most probably don't vent some vocal during 90 mins of ball kicking.
I personally find it a bit unedifying to not raise some noise for large portions of the home games. That's how I've largely viewed it in 11 years at Ricoh.
