Could This Be True ? (3 Viewers)

A snippet from someone i know very much in the know at city, which if true makes you wonder, the club is in the final stages of a takeover and that dear Ken Dulieu offered to broker a deal between the Hoffman camp and SISU and keep his place on the board., basically shafting SISU. I wouldn't put it past him. The story is he was told to "do one"

And thats why its a complete load of bollocks. Appreciate you are just passing this stuff on but if you tell somebody to do one you dont ask them to work closer to the Manager, think about it.

Which I don't get - how can you work closely with the manager if you can't even afford to spend some time at the club in the first place? Surely doing business is easier with video-conferencing etc etc than being in touch with Thorn about team matters?

Way i see it is if his offer to shaft SISU was turned down may mean he isn't needed to get this thing done. He says he is this that and the other at the club but is it just ego talk now he is off the board, or was he kicked off ?? Didn't Brody say a similar thing when he jacked in ? ?

nobody with any business sense would want Ken anywhere near our (or any other) club. The leaked information to the national press about the last bid saw to that. (assuming it was him of course...... ;) )

Completely untrustworthy (assuming it was him of course....)

It sounds and looks and feels sexual but in the end, as always, it turns out to be a dream, a fantasy, and were left in a mess!!

Sorry but its a load of crap. If a takeover is on the cards its certainly not in the final stages and more like 2 or 3 months away before we hear anything concrete.

Let's hope it is true Eleanor. How reliable is your source ?
My source is pretty reliable and had also told me virtually word for word what was in todays Telegraph. He has also told me what most probably know is that Richard Keys is very much involved and has spent hours of his spare time putting this together with Hoffman. Remember Hoffman has been busy setting up this new bank venture so his time has been limited. If what happens is what i have been told very exciting times lay ahead regardless what divsion we are in next year. I think there was always a confidence that eventually they would succeed in getting the club off SISU their real concern was if it was put into administation. I think the news out today in the Telegraph suggests things are moving on at a pace.

Eleanor I still like your posts especially this one but if they don't hurry up the division we will be in is the Conference North
