Mowbray
Thoughts on game; initial thoughts disappointment
Don't give ourselves chance
If you don't score you don't win
Inability to defend to blame
Ultimately not good enough
Created good chances
When go behind you give yourself a mountain to climb
Had enough chances to score
Interested to see stats
Bottom line you have to score
First goal young boy being naive
Very young team. Can't use as an excuse
first week we will have to work with them to gel (no midweek game)
Only RCC on team sheet that was on team sheet last season
Over the course of the season you have to coach; haven't had time to coach other than to sit in front of a video. Show what could do better etc
Good coaching includes working on the grass
Just brought a group together
Had a very young team pre season
Had to use and put together team with the window
Said today if don't put ball away give yourself a difficult game
Didn't lack in belief but will erode
Team still believe they are a good side
Competitive game
....Refers back to previous games....
Some good and bad crosses today. Didn't hit target enough
Work to be done
'He Doesn't understand a question' (I couldn't hear what it was)
It is a bitRemind you of anyone? Very Pressleyesque
I feel so much more assured after that. Thanks, Tony.TM
I hope we have some footballers who can win some games at this level.
Mowbray sounded to me as if he was in complete denial. Not a good sign.
Thats been the pattern for the majority of managers I can remember. Honeymoon period follower by nose dive. There's a pattern forming here.
SP. Did enough finishing the season he arrived. Started his first full season all guns blazing before falling away after Xmas. Starts the next season flat before loosing his job.

...yet to be written.
There is of course one common denominator here and it isn't the manager.
Remind you of anyone?
What did he want to finish saying?Oh feck it's Nigel. Was hoping they'd finish before he called up
Now he's having a fit shouting LET ME FINISH, LET ME FINISH
Clive won that battle
Wonder if he has any more weddings to go to?

look at who we've brought in then compare it to the rest of the leagueHow do you know ?
He didn't shout that again did he?His rant about Fisher, Anderson etc coming out and talking to the fans.
Finished my shouting 'GET OUT OF MY CLUB AND OUT OF MY TOWN'.
Says the bloke who didn't go to half the games last year but suddenly is now back on the scene..
Arse.
Depends what you mean by older players, players who are past it looking for there last pay check on a one or two year contract would sign. It's as if other teams haven't played loads of games.
I'm not having that older players wouldn't come here, not after the hunt, ramage and Henderson experiment.
Yea and neither of them are good enough over a 46 game season it appears. He is playing harries over rickets, so it's his choice...
He had one here but turned him down because he wasn't ready.Yea and neither of them are good enough over a 46 game season.
It's known that Mowbray was actively trying to recruit another centre back but for whatever reason it couldn't be done.

That's the thing isn't it, played a gamble with championship players like Wilson and wondered why they went to championship teams on championship wages.I think he has wasted time trying to sign players that were unlikely to come and has then missed more realistic targets as they gave gone elsewhere
Possibly, seems that way. Seems he underestimated how difficult it would be to convince players to join us.I think he has wasted time trying to sign players that were unlikely to come and has then missed more realistic targets as they gave gone elsewhere
We weren't stable though were we, the same as I wouldn't be if I was spending many multiples of what I was earning. We were more or less a stable team on the pitch in the Championship. SISU came in, appointed Coleman and we crumbled from then on. Finishing up where we are now. Thoughts... Or is it as plain as the nose on your face as to who is to blame.

With two games a week a lot of the time is taken up by recovery afterwards then preparing for the next match. Not much time for high intensity training with two matches a week.
We were never really in any threat of relegation till SISU came along and appointed Coleman. Downhill ever since. The stats don't lie Nick.
