Did you seriously take this as a serious post? Please tell me you didn't...........
Yes I did.

Why wouldn't it be serious? Plenty of our fans want ex players back.

I've seen the likes of Best, Ward, Baker being mentioned.

I was at the match where he made his debut. Was it Plymouth away? Can't remember now.

Strange player Mifsud, started off as a world beater, ripping defences apart with his amazing pace but soon became useless. Saying that at the time put managers, Coleman was one just couldn't build a forward line to suit him and I think he had attitude too, thought he was a superstar

His agent spoiled his career in my opinion. Wanted premier league money in the championship. Left us had a trial at Sheffied United (i believe) but again wanted to much money. Then didnt have a club for nearly a year if i remember rightly, ended up back in Malta. Smalll fish small pond....

Think if he stayed with us and carried on working hard he cold probably have got prem wages at some point, quick as a whippet!

Wasn't his move to Bristol City scuppered by his demands?

I agree with the over-rated comment. Did start of well for us but didn't he only get something like 2 in his last 25 games for us? I seem to remember trotting something like that out at the time to say he wasn't much cop. Totally lost it.

Like Torch said, his demands put paid to a move to B.City FC....another footballer where greed got the better of a potentially better career.

That said, didn't he score both in our win at O.Trafford vs Utd?

That felt so good in a group with a few Man Utd fans....

Yep ripped the B team apart - with 11k Coventry supporters in the theatre of dreams - now that really is a field of dreams now - more like Salford United

Wasn't that much of a B team really when you look at who they put out.

Players like Mifsud, Turner, Best, Simpson were really only being used in the League Cup until this point anyway for us from what I remember.

Man Utd: Kuszczak, Bardsley (Brown 45), Evans (Carrick 56), Pique, Simpson, Nani, Martin (Campbell 45), O'Shea, Eagles, Dong, Anderson.
Subs Not Used: Heaton, Eckersley.

Booked: Pique.

Coventry: Marshall, Osbourne (McNamee 88), Ward, Turner, Borrowdale, Simpson, Stephen Hughes, Doyle, Tabb, Mifsud, Best (Adebola 90).
Subs Not Used: Konstantopoulos, De Zeeuw, Thornton.

Strange days when players were criticised for not leaving the club!

I always thoiught we ruined Mifsud by doing our traditional effort of trying to force him into becoming a winger.

Ironic that Mowbtray now tries to turn wingers into central strikers, mind...

Misfud was let down by his awareness of the players around him, a head down sort of player.

But he did produce some memorable moments and some key goals which saved him from the terrible folder.
