How did I bring it to the table? I wasn't the one calling him nasal nige etc. and the ones that were were not only being spiteful, petty children any constructive criticism that they might have had to say about Nigel's opinions was lost the second that they started with "nasal nige has been on again, snigger, snigger, snigger".

How are you supposed to take anything they have to say seriously when they start with playground bully stuff?

Tony, I know you don't engage in that name calling, and neither do I, but my point was I didn't and I presume a lot of other people didn't know he had a cleft palate until you mentioned it. It isn't something I have seen mentioned on the site that Nigel gets taken the piss out of for.

I also didn't notice anyone on this thread, forgive me if I am wrong, call him Nasal Nigel, and I also think that those that have in the past, possibly didn't realise he did have a cleft palate. Perhaps now people know they wont use that term.

** Edit - I have just seen that you and Nick have discussed the same thing so apologies if its duplicating a similar discussion.

on the subject of the thread, i.e. phone in, we (6 of us) were in a hostelry & listening to it,
independently 4 of us texted in,
the general threads being dismay at the way the owners have behaved since day 1 of their tenure,
not one of those texts were read out,
it became obvious that selectivity of views for airing was in operation @ BBC C&W,
i proffer the idea that C&W are nervous that they will be given restricted access if they criticise sisu too much

Not really, they were reading out ones about them being asset strippers yesterday.

Can you back that up - do you have any evidence?

Can you back up that Robins was happy to stay!!!! Do you have evidence?.

Gren, i don't have to let you know how and who i know at the club past and present, i just know whatever you are reading or whatever was said was not the complete truth. Remember days before he he left for Huddersfield he stated he had Sky blue blood!!!!!, he knew of the interest and wanted more control and money to invest. Sadly all the managers under Sisu have let the fans down? none have told the truth about the state of the club just gone along with what they are given instead of what was promised. Its amazing what a couple of grand a week can do for the memory or the moral standard you have to be honest against the self preservation that sort of money brings.

Robins had form for jumping ship - better offer came and he left. I remember the baying mob on here waiting for his resignation speech and a flood of disappointment,

Dear old sky blue John was the best. He claimed sisu had agreed a payment to robins if he said nice things about them and bad things about the council.

One of robins big gripes was that he wanted some training time at the Ricoh. This was refused by ACL unless extra fees were paid even though there was no use age.

Even odder was the fact that when we went into administration under Pressley they were allowed extra training time on the pitch.

Funny old world.
