Can't believe how everyone's rimming him. What we need is a maverick to tell us all how wrong we are and then sit back in the glow of CONTROVERSY

Don't think he was the worst player we had in an awful first half on Saturday. He works hard but misplaces a high percentage of passes and seems unable to up the tempo when required. I much prefer Vincelot and fleck but only see Bigi as a potential stand in for an injured/suspended Vincelot. He hasn't the drive or touch of fleck.

He seems to have gone backwards since his original stint here. Did we ever find out what his mystery illness was, wonder if that is causing issues?

Sure there's a decent enough player in there somewhere. Maybe not the PL player some thought he was at one time but he should be good enough for this standard. Question is how long can we give him to prove himself.

I think his mystery illness might have been delusion.

Yes because Haynes is sub standard and Cole a distraction.

Unlike some however I don't call them dog shit like Murphy gets called and yet that never gets picked up.

Bigiamara will be a non league player in two years as will Haynes.

You still standing by this, Grendel?

I know it's only two or three games Bigi has apparently shone in, but still....

Very bold statement to make.

Was the best player on the pitch yesterday. Even some Millwall supporters were saying about how good he is. Sounded like he was the best player that they have come against this season.

I now await some people to admit that they might have been wrong about Bigi.....

I've always thought he was just okay and nothing more. Some good stuff but then errant passing and poor positional play.

Would love nothing more than for him to be the player we would all want him to be.

He was also MOTM at Fleetwood last week.
If he keeps it up he will be our player of the season and just wait until he starts scoring......:)

I have a feeling he wouldn't leave unless he's not wanted.

Correct and the deal constructed means it was to be until the end of the season.

This is exactly why Grendel gets shit. Outlandish statements with nothing to back them up then no real response when called out. Yet still has the gall to call other people out on the same shit.

Obsessed no doubt.

tbf, a thread hailing Bigi's redemption after a game is as mental as writing him off after a game.

Oddly my outlandish statements regarding him normally centre around "mediocre" and "league one at best" - compare this to some of the more outlandish remarks aimed at him and other players - including threads - I would say it's far from outlandish.

The statement also hasn't been disproven.

Very true. I'll take positivity over negativity every time though.

Problem is, building up players too much is when it all goes bi-polar - we're good at bi-polar swings from elated highs to suicidal lows - and then we'll get Grendel leading the vanguard when he has a stinker and calling out Otis... and so we go on in ever increasing tedium.

'non league player in two years'

You might as well chalk this one up to your perceived idea that Bigi gets preferential treatment. Save us all the bother.

Hardly an offensive statement is it as I said league one at best?

Pretty mild stuff I'd say.

True. But I'd rather be windmilling into threads after one of our own players has played well rather than having to windmill in when they have played shit.

What a day it will be for Grendel if Bigi lines up for a non league side in two years. It will be fantastic.

Who's offended? Plus you said non league in two years.
My point isn't centred entirely on the Bigi debate anyway. It's your matter of fact statements and general cuntery when questioned on them.

Actually it's not even that. Loads of people on here are like that. It's the fact you think you aren't like that. Does my fucking tits in.

Well it wouldn't be fantastic as long as it wasn't for us it would be irrelevant.

Why would anyone care if he is anymore than say Connor Thomas would be? To me players are commodities they come and go and when they go I've no interest in them

I can confidently predict we will have numerous threads about this individual and numerous arguments when ultimately the only thing really that matters is how the club performs.

"Bigiamara will be a non league player in two years"

There's that selective memory on what you said again. Even when somebody has provided you with a memo just a few pages up.

Hardly offensive is it? An opinion based on observations. An opinion that wasn't altered by what id seen this season either.

So we will see what happens over the course of a season to make an assessment.

I will see what happens over the course of a season before making an assessment. You already haven't done that. You also don't seem to have noticed that you've already made an assessment. Selective memory again.

No I agree I've made an assessment. Can't see what's wrong with that.

You do know it's not the end of the season don't you? You know, the point at which the course of a season finishes. You've made your assessment over what happened at the beginning of something, not over the course of something.

He did play for us last season you know? Which was the original op. I don't think he is good enough for a promotion chasing team in league one.

Shock, horror.

Shock, horror. Again you're contradicting yourself. You're still not seeing what happens over the course of the season. Duplicity again.
