I wonder how it works with parents etc.

It's good because it's targeted, so more chance of repeat attendance.

Bloody fantastic work from the SBITC and the club itself.
Most supporters have been screaming for a long time to get kids up to the game, they are the future customers and with twenty thousand seats sitting empty its a no brainer to get the Under 14/12 up to the game for free.
The excitement pre-match and hopefully the game will make them come back again most weeks and when they hit 14 they will start to nag their parents to take them up hence becoming paying future customers.
well done to all involved especially SBiTC and the club also

No you're wrong, Peeler had to mow the lawn

How big is nickys lawn? Do you do his weeding as well or is that down to Italia?

Every player not in match day squad will be about the same age as the kids they are entertaining ;)

Kids under 12 should be Free full stop.

When I was that age it was just about Free for kids anyways
Under 12 Free
13-16 fiver

They're our future and we need them more than ever

Absolutely agree with that, the future potential earnings is worth far more.

Wasps did similar for months and they were heralded across the City for doing so.

I wonder if CCFC will get the same praise?

That was just random schools though wasn't it? At one point you could go into the reception at the school and just ask for Wasps tickets.

These are given to kids doing sbitc courses, hopefully more chance of them coming again.

No idea.

If so, this idea is even better, so surely it deserves even more praise.

Random schools as well wouldn't hurt though. Especially if they bring a paying adult with them and especially as we can't even half fill the ground. Not really anything to lose.

You could also argue that if kids are signing up to SBITC courses they already have an interest in CCFC so there was already probably every chance that they were coming anyway. Still good that they've been given these tickets anyway. I'm not arguing that.

I think rather than just random schools they should try and spread a bit further out. Rugby, Nuneaton, Bedworth etc.

The wider area would be good. As far as I know CCFC have never been to my childrens school since they've been attending school. Wasps have though, twice IIRC. Wouldn't even need to be free tickets, a presence would be a start from my experience. GS Football academy is the nearest.

It would just take sky blue sam really. Doubt they would care if it was a player too much if they didnt know him.

A big blue elephant would get more attention.

Not even free tickets, they could give out some discount vouchers like they give to JSBS. (family ticket for £20 etc).

Are your kids still at junior school Tony? as if so I am surprised CCFC have never been. The club should though try to get out more

They came to my kids school two or three times, and it went down great. Wasps have never been to my kids schools, they only did a festival for Rugby at St Andrews which wasn't as well received nor popular as CCFC.
