I thought it was fully explained in my prior post to that one.
NOPM as a campaign to force SISU to leave, in a manner that will provide joy to masses... is flawed.
Not going because we have shit owners / a shit manager / a shit strip / a shit bunch of players / a club cat that scratches you whenever you try to stroke it is fine, it's what happens in everyday life. Something is shit, it attracts less people.
But that ain't a campaign, that just is.

Totally agree with you Bruce.
NOPM has the potential to starve Sisu of funds ie. hurt them now where they are bothered, galvanise fans in a campaign and attract national publicity which also potentially damages Sisu's future business.
Most who dismiss it dont really argue the point, largely because they dont really want to campaign against Sisu -- like Grendull.

Action will gather more publicity than inaction. Come up with something that shows people care and no, that doesn't have to even involve going into the ground if you don't want to, come up with something plenty of people can turn up to and rally behind if you want to campaign.
But NOPM to force regime change is flawed, and dangerous.

Their are merits in NOPM if Sisu's end game is that of squeezing the club to death and then liquidation, it would speed up the process by forcing the owners to support the club financially. The problem is no one knows the end game. It also makes Grendels point of how many would be their irrelevant, if their was no money coming in from fans their would be no product on the pitch that fans would want to watch in the current self funding model.
Just got off a plane from Spain to hear all this latest good news.
Not been to the City this season at all, haven't spent a single penny thus far. I think this cements it for me now too :
I hate the twats who have trashed it all, they haven't really invested in another squad again, we got lucky with a few hot loans last term, we haven't done that this one, the club is disintegrating, the manager looks battered and bewildered by it all and now resembles all his predecessors, they ramped my favourite ticket area in block 37 up from £18 to £24 without any justification, hardly anyone I know goes now anyway, there are better things to do than keep this club on life support which only favours SISU. If the poisonous bastards fuck off then I may return but I hope they make it quick or I will have moved on altogether.
I've given them 40 years solid support, 30 games a season for at least 25 of those too but it doesn't feel like our club anymore anyway, fair play to those who persevere but I think you are flogging a dead horse and the hedge fund are taking the piss out of your loyalty. Shame, I've met some great people following City.

Don't think NOPM would work, to be honest. They are a big hedge fund, they probably don't want to take a hit, but they'll be able to absorb it.

been mentioned before. I think it's a good idea, show sisu or any potential owners what they could have if the club was well run and had some direction and then a boycott to show sisu we've had enough.
Trouble is a lot of people won't agree with the full house idea, (wich is fair enough), so it will be difficult to achieve.

Virtually impossible to get 100% of people to agree to anything.
A lot easier to mask that if it's something active however. Didn't get 100% of people rocking up to marches while Northampton was going on, but got enough to make an impact....
