Of course they can't unequivocally prove that! In what walk of like can you be 100% sure of anything happening. I can't unequivocally say you won't get run over by a bus tomorrow but you will still get out of bed in the morning! I suppose there will always be someone who will just keep taking a kick in the teeth, which to be honest they probably deserve if they don't stand up for themselves. However the problem is that these weak people are now ensuring my club dies a slow painful death.
I have constantly said that I respect the opinion of the NOPM more brigade, but you can't extend the same courtesy to your fellow fans, I'm not weak mate I can assure you. And you haven't answered my earlier question so let's try again:
"
sisu took a decision to move the club to Sixfields which reduced attendances by the best part of 75% from the previous season.

Does that sound like the actions of owners who care whether the support turn up or not?
Crowds are dropping rapidly at the moment, what do sisu do to get the fans on side, they ban the local paper from their press conferences, they don't give a fuck mate.
I'm going to carry on going to spend father and son time with my lad and supprt TM and the boys, and sisu do not give one fuck whetehr I'm there or not.

I'm not in favour of NOPM
Just my belief but I believe I t will hurt us and the team, not just SISU

I honestly believe constant media attention that will put SISU in a negative light will be better.
It has to be maintained pressure.

Wakey ideas that will be a good story
I don't know but maybe 8000 Coventry fans all watching the game in Jimmy Hill masks might be a good story that would be picked up

It needs to go viral, get everybody attention. Not just football.

It needs to make people go and Google what is about, or tell their friends.

I never see us getting promoted because of them, if we had from league one last season it would be fluke.

I can see us stuck in league one.

Thing is, even if we had been relegated down to the conference if it was ccfc I would support them.

Which is why I can't see the logic in wanting to kill the club, to start a new one who's ambition is to get to football league

Look at it this way. We drop out of the FL. What happens?... We get the Golden Share taken off us. What happens then? Any players of worth will be sold, and any other players will fuck off wanting league football. What happens then? SISU have nothing to bargain with and either put us into administration, or liquidate. Earlier or later... You decide!

Then we go into the conference..

It's scare mongering, amongst.all the rubbish our squad is much better than relegation.

Why should I want to kill the club in league one, to start a new one with the top ambition of getting into the football league in 7 - 10 years minimum.

I'm really confused as to why people are talking about liquidation as if it's a good thing. It's the end of 133 year
s of history, the death of the club, why would anyone want liquidation?
It may be where we end up but I don't see why people would welcome it?

It's not just about you and your father and son time tho is it! I would love to be doing that too but I recognise that it will only feed the cancer in our club. People keep going on about how to get the media involved etc... Yet the most obvious and easiest is for everyone not to turn up. Even if it's only one game. This has never been done before which is why it would get attention. It appears to me that everyone just uses the excuse that 'not everyone will do it' so no one does it!

Because they can get behind a new club to try and get into the football league, it's strange.

Nobody wants it, but were rapidly heading in that direction. Do you prefer to let it drag out, or get it over with quickly?

Have you never been to a game where were getting mullered 3 or 4 nil with 2 minutes to go and thought.... FFS Ref blow the whistle?

I appear to be asking him questions, and not getting any answers...

I don't want us to aid and abet sisu in killing the club but I do understand yours and others despondency.
Maybe it's me who's aiding them by still going, who the fuck knows?

I love the film "the hangover". The 2nd wasn't as good, but I still paid to watch it. The 3rd was woeful, but I still paid. If they do a 4th, I will still go, hoping it is as good as the 1st.

That about sums up CCFC for me

I'm lost that you paid to watch a film....

"made the playoffs under SISU"

I thought SISU wasn't the club? You seem quite happy to give SISU credit if we achieved that but because while we're sitting bottom it's all the managers fault and nothing to do with SISU. There's that duality of yours again.

What on earth are you talking about. I was pointing out owners are totally irrelevant to crowds. It's the success or failure they deliver that determines crowds.

Thinking out loud here,
how about we all attend the next home game and try and make it a sellout (chesterfield as it a Saturday may be better) but all leave on 87 minutes; then boycott the next home game after (oxford united).

A statement to show the support is there but also NOPM.

We've got to stop the divide between fans and make sure our stand is inclusive. Put aside all our differences and stand up for the Sky blues. Things are desperate and whilst I applaud fans sticking by the team I don't think any other set of supporters would have put up with so much for so long.

sadly, neither of those will happen

was chatting to someone last night about how we could create max impact but also support the team.

We came up with all fans attending cramming into singers corner and leaving the rest of the stadium empty. We could support the team and you never know, one or two others might sing. If we packed that corner, the rest of the place would look very empty, but those that currently go, would only have to compromise on their seat

The sad thing is, if you watch the highlights the ground looks empty anyway :(

The best bet would be to get everybody from the stand by the bench to come over to the Tesco stand where the cameras cant see ;)

either of those has to be easier to get fans on board than a "pack the place / NOPM " discussion, which simply wont get traction.

If everyone sat in the stand behind the dug outs, it could be billed as "standing behind the team, but against the owners"
