Richardson at least found a site. This could be worse, much much worse.
Knowing SISU, that small four a side pitch (if its that big) at Whinfield Rec.
Richardson at least found a site. This could be worse, much much worse.
That does need confirming how concrete it is, but it does get overlooked.“The club would like to reiterate that the current site cannot be developed until it has demonstrated to Rugby Council and Sport England that an adequate replacement has been provided for.”
I wish someone had said this to Brian RichardsonErrm, isn't it best to secure the new land first and lay a few bricks before putting your old training ground up for sale?
The end of a professional football club is big deal isn't it, if they start another JR and"Trouble is I honestly can't see SISU allowing it too happen, if anything I think they
Will expect to have more chance of a payday in court if the club is liquidated."
what brings you to that conclusion mate?
The end of a professional football club is big deal isn't it, if they start another JR and
Go saying the club was squeezed from all sides until it could no longer breathe,
I'm not saying I think they'd have more chance.
I'm sure they would have, had they the cash available. To be fair remember what the court and judge said in 2014. It's the years of Mis management of ccfc that has caused this mess and sisu were trying to get the Ricoh for as cheap as possible to claw that investment back that went up the pictures. The court ran an independent view on things and came to that conclusion.
I bet sisu would do things differently if they knew wasps would come here if ok could go back in time.
Oh no I agree something has happened and a switch has been flicked. You can also sense that the telegraph are enjoying it all as well.
That's the thing about Ryton being the last piece or an end game, they have been trying for years as have past owners.
I am not saying it isn't an end game, but they have been trying for a while to pull it off.
I used to play for Brackley Bill my ugly bald mug must be on the pictures from teams in the early eighties. This is my first post for months. I no longer watch CCFC but for now go to see my local side, Brackley Town. I will always be a CCFC fan though, and will return when Sisu go, though I wouldn't be surprised if we're playing Brackley by then. Sisu represent everything that's wrong with business and football at the moment and I have nothing but contempt for them. A total boycott is surely all we have left.
You would think it would have to be the same standard at least.
It is just the whole public / private thing as well. Only CCFC players were allowed to use the pitches.
If they had a swimming pool in there only for CCFC players, would they have to rebuild that?
Anybody know how it works?
Again, everybody saying it is the final step. Would they have just sold it and liquidated us 3 or 4 years ago or since they have been trying?
So do Cov Welsh and Earlsdon I would think. Add Barkers to that. You realise Broadstreet amateur Rugby club will own more land and property than CCFC very soon.
Big garden though.Three bed semi in Allesley?
We are heading for league 2 as it stands and if it's not this year it's next year.
Needed that for 4 or 5 years, many statements have been made the trouble is absolutely no action except in the courts has been taken.I used to play for Brackley Bill my ugly bald mug must be on the pictures from teams in the early eighties.
I was brought up and lived for many years in nearby Croughton and also Brackley and I went to there last game of the season when they beat Tamworth to stay up.
Anyway back on track ,what we need is a full statement explaining what the club plan to do, once and for all. This uncertainty is helpful to no-one ,the fans need some answers and truthful answers only
And what point are you trying to get at in my post? You realise Broadstreet amateur Rugby club will own more land and property than CCFC very soon.

That's the thing, I'd rather they stayed quiet and only spoke if things were certain then talk shit because they feel they have to.Yeah let's be honest it could be entirely plausible to come up with a statement that says:
- The club are in talks to move to the Butts temporarily.
- They are looking for land for a permanent home, and are close to making a purhcase before building a stadium.
- A new training ground and academy will be built, the club intend to talk to potential partners such as Warwick University.
Great, all of those statements.
But... all a bit vacuous really, without action.
Let's face it, they can come out now and say they are looking to build a new training ground and would it make people feel better?
I'd be happy with a demo of strategy of how we seek to break even and what that means the club have to do to cut their cloth and enable them to compete on an even footing, whilst they look to build a long term future for the club
Not talking to fans is digging them a bigger and bigger hole
I agree about the communication side of it, but even if they do a presentation on how they are going to break even people will feel better?
Their communication has been needed for as long as I can remember, not just the politics but the football side too.

In any other business you would probably get told to do one, while it would be nice I can only remember Everton openly doing things like explaining accounts.yes !!!
They don't talk to their customers. In any other business, that inevitably results in one thing....

While we say they don't communicate, I think it's more that we don't believe what they are saying when they do!
For example they say they want to develop the butts.
Think there's a very good reason we haven't heard that. There isn't one. We could possibly be OK in L1 but if we ever manage to get promoted we're screwed in terms of competitiveness. Unless someone is prepared to put in a lot of money they'll never get back I struggle to see how this gets turned around.I'd be happy with a demo of strategy of how we seek to break even and what that means the club have to do to cut their cloth and enable them to compete on an even footing, whilst they look to build a long term future for the club
Nick people not believing is due to a poor track record of poor communication. Not doing what you said you would is poor communication. In any other business you would probably get told to do one, while it would be nice I can only remember Everton openly doing things like explaining accounts.

I think the difference now more than any other time, is all the players are in the same room. All have the same vested interest and all know what each party collectively brings round a table.
It's ironic that Wasps have brought a sporting franchise from out the city and are making it work with help from the CCC. Yet I feel the biggest hatred from CCC towards Sisu and the reason for all the collective squeezing is because of Sisu taking to club to NTFC.
I still can't say other than its my opinion. But all these parties including CRFC, Cov Utd, CCC, Higgs, Sport England, Wasps and now Telegraph know exactly which way and what the outcome will be.
