I think TMs position won't be as dodgy as people think with Venus on the board. I think he'll have a big say on the managers position and I don't think he'll advise sacking him.

I don't think TM is a bad manager, I think anyone would struggle here also when
They talk about budget I just don't buy it, vague isn't the word for it.
The advantage a big club always has over a small one is budget, in this league
We are a big club, if SISU will not fund us to try too take us forward then what's
The point, what purpose do they actually serve. :(

This caller actually makes sense with his suggestion of bigi right wing back.

Just to make my stance clear, I want Mowbray to stay.

BUT, he needs to sort out his match day tactics. Like the caller said, you needed subtle changes. He took Kelly-Evans off which made sense as he was poor (going by CWR) and already booked, but completely messed the formation up.

I will have the up most respect for TM, if he comes out, holds his hands up referencing his formation and substitutions, and vowed to sort it out. This reluctance to manage the team properly and effectively, will be what makes him leave/be sacked very soon, which I think will be a shame as I believe he could be the one to sort the club out (as much as he can).

What don't you buy about talking about budget?

Has that caller really compared it to the blitz, where people died? He is also thinks the telegraph are doing it for the fans.

Now going on about Jimmy hill. He has written some poems too.

so have I

"there once was a club called cov city,
our form since December's been shitty,
The last game we won was in May,
We're now bottom and that's ok,
cause if we sell Ryton, it will bolster the kitty

All is going to be fine; David Slater has written some Sisu poems and posted them onto Facebook :arghh:
Sisu evil, Sisu bad, Sisu shitty, me so mad.
Fisher, Seppala, Brody too, show no respect, for they're just poo.

That sort of thing?

James?

Yes he made sense, blame SISU for the off field stuff, but Mowbray and the players need to sort out the on field stuff. We should be mid table at least.

Agyei needs to start IMO.
Yeah, the one who said he hates them as much as everybody but there is no excuse.

Have to say Gadzhev is turning out to be a disappointment to me. For someone who was supposed to take this league by storm he has had very little impact.

He looks like he hasn't had a pre season and two yards off the pace. Surely the end of last season, plus pre season etc, you'd think he'd be up to pace.

(He's not too bad on FIFA though ;) )

Thing is, wouldn't that just get the media assault even worse? People say it won't be affecting the football side but it will be. How is a new manager going to come in? Mowbray will be a martyr, the new manager would be instantly hammered.

Media assault? That's aimed at SISU, not Mowbray. Telegraph will support TM on Monday.

We'll recruit another out-of-job manager who's desperate and deceived about the SISU issue. They'll be fed a barrel of lies promising spending and investment, only to find out the truth at Christmas when the window opens and the owners say 'Only outbound'.

I don't believe that a new manager would instantly be slated either. If anything, a new manager generally raises confidence that results will change, that and the honeymoon period where managers get about a month to make changes in tactics, formation etc.

And you think it won't affect the playing side? If not, why is Mowbray being asked about it?

Of course they will support Mowbray, that's a given isn't it? The same as other will because it adds to the blame on sisu and budget etc and get people angry. The same as people excused thorn.

Any of it,
if they told me I was Male I'd go to the bog and check, TM will go and in
6 months you'll be on here blaming the .
It's not the manager that's failing, it's the club.

So we have the lowest budget in the league?

Do you think Mowbray has the worst squad in the league?

Basic journalism 101. They're basically trying to get TM to back SISU or Telegraph. I haven't heard the interview, but my guess is that TM avoided answering the question directly.

It clearly hasn't made any effect on the playing side - we keep on conceding goals and losing games!

Mowbray

Not too sure (we should have come away with anything)

Didn't do basics

Poorly defended throughout

They Played back to front and we didnt deal

Been moaning about not scoring yet today we didn't stand up defensively

Hurt more a shot I build a career off defending

Basics need improving on

Young boys need to know it's a mans game

Boys and men trying to pay a mortgage

Very few did enough today

Shocking defending from experienced player for the winner

They had a tough game Wednesday but worked really hard

From three did alright and why I'm moaning about defence

Inconsistency from a young team

Difficult to keep reproducing

Need players who are 26/28 who are men

Burge is ill over night with big so not on bench

Street had head ache issues after concussion injury, legislation means couldn't play

Not a question of ringing changes for sake of it; trying to education a young team and inspire them

This year games been tighter

Should have tried to kill game off sooner (at 1-0)

Surely someone has to go and head the ball after a 'feather like' throw

don't get why he is saying older players cant keep up with 9 league games

we only have 2 "older" players and neither have played all the games
Moaning about older players that he doesn't play. Then he says about our most experienced player making mistakes.

Is he saying we couldn't sign a 27 year old instead of sordell for example?

Bloke comes on now but doesn't want to talk about the team... Openly admits he doesn't know much about it.

I don't get to ask the questions ;)

No, I'm not having a go at you. But it's either TM trying to take some of the responsibility for the results himself - or he is indicating that he does not have full control over who we buy/sell/loan which has put us in this position. If SISU have got some sort of middleman, then frankly, we're League Two already.
