Mowbray out (11 Viewers)

Sisu can't afford to sack Mowbray and they probably don't give a fuck where we are in the league anyway, they will just let his contract expire at the end of the season regardless where we finish

Saying let's not sack the manager because we always do is such a weak argument.

"Oh no, I've stood in dogshit again Jane, it's all over my loafer, I won't clean it off this time though, because I did that the last 5 times and I've still managed to stand in dogshit again."

Yet everybody else in and around the club seem to be saying it's the same??

That's the thing that's dangerous, bbc cover it and where do they get their information from??

I can't see why mowbray would lie that actually makes him look incompetent by saying it's not noticeable.

This is comical! How many times do we have to go through the same situation until you realise that changing the manager will not make a blind bit of difference! No manager will be successful here whist SISU are in charge.

That's probably the worst analogy I've ever seen :D

Exactly monners. Lots want to take the easy option like we have for the past ten years.
I for one dont think tm had a competitive budget as sisu are cashing in.

Would explain a lot of why we are shit this year
Why are Scunthorpe and Bury top of League 1 with over three times the amount of points we have and we are bottom?

We should have a bigger budget than both clubs.

Sorry but TM is the reason we are where we are today and he simply has to go.

Needs to go. I've been saying it for weeks. I want him to succeed but our record in this Calendar year has been atrocious.

I'd like Graham Alexander from Scunthorpe. Doing a good job and from Coventry. May be the man to take us forward longer term.

The truth is our midfield is just not good enough. It's far worse than last season and also Murphy had a fear factor that took defences with him.

Now we have a weak insipid midfield that can be overrun at will and jones and Reid are not posing real threats during games.

If, however, the reason you kept stepping in dogshit is because your gardener covers your lawn in it, instead of mowing it... you'd be sacking your gardener first.

Jones seems scared to shoot. Technically and Pace wise, he's good, but he doesn't have an end product.

Chill. We will win tuesday.
I know you're just got back from holiday but do catch up.

Good luck with Tuesday, Because if you are going to the Game you will be on your own.

The Game against Wimbledon has been moved to WEDNESDAY. :asshat:

I have a feeling that Wednesday could well decide what happens for Mowbray. Win and we will kick on. Lose and he might walk away.
If we lose and he doesn't walk then I can see them giving it another 3 games. Still winless in 3 weeks then he must go surely.

Not a single person has said that...

On the pitch, there is no excuse for where we are.

I replied to this statement.

I fear the whole sisu debacle will cover Mowbray for a while.

Seen fans saying changing manager won't change a thing which is a fucking idiotic statement to make.

Now that above does not just state playing field does it, i remarked on this comment, i think its fucking idiotic if anyone things changing TM changes all. I also think the on/off field issues are created and go hand in hand not split. So be fair if the above was only the green i understand but you replied as if it was and you know from the above it is not.

The writing been the wall for ages. Mowbray will see his contract out and walk away .this tenure will look bad on his Cv

Makes me sick this time last season we all thought TM was a gift from God we loved him we lost some great players but we only need one player to start banging the goals in and all this Mowbray out shit will be forgotten so come on every one let's just keep calm and support our team the good times will come again pusb

Your half right, its the fear factor wingers we have lost and have not replaced adequatley. Bigi and when mcann and rosr are back are a step up, i think, from vincelot and fleck.

And if we were fan owned, with say the 10th biggest budget in the league and we were rock bottom with Mowbray doing the same it would be all the manager.

He said mowbray is covered by it, thorn made a short career out of being covered by it.

Of course he means the football side.

So we forgive every manager no matter how crap they are?

It might well be the case that no manager will be successful, but that doesn't mean they in turn have to be an abject failure.

We are 4 points adrift of safety and not one single win under our belts.

Just because under Sisu we may never go up or reach the play-offs doesn't mean we should be bottom of the table and doing this badly.

I am totally and utterly convinced that with the right manager this team would be much closer to the other end of the table than this end.

Too simplistic an answer to just blame Sisu here. They allow TM to bring the players in, but they do not pick the team, choose the formation, make the substitutions and dictate the tactics.

That is all down to one man unfortunately.

Too early to get rid of Mowbray. It's not been a good start obviously. We just lost 2-1 away, which in a normal season would not be considered a disaster. The team is improving and we have the return of Stokes and Rose to look forward too.

I doubt the budget is lower than the other 23 teams in the league though.
FWIW I think we should persevere with TM but a lot of what's wrong on the pitch is down to him and he needs to sort it pronto.

Nick its all, It's, but's and maybe's.. Lets be honest deal with today's facts we are in trouble as a complete package, if TM left today, which i have no issue with, i just don't see it changes or effects much. If we were top of the league like we were last Christmas still doesn't change the fact we are in the shit today. Why don't you look at it this way instead of dealing with the future which is uncertain but with these owners a disaster.

And you also know i have never mentioned fan ownership, you know who i think is involved in a potential ownership and have spoke to you weeks about it...

Lol I bet Sheffield and Bradford are green with envy they we have Bigi and Rose and they've got fleck and vincelot. In every game I've seen we've been hopelessly predictable in midfield. Rose is so underwhelming Mowbray now decides he's a wingback.

Read some match reports then dickhead, fleck on the bench and vincelot how good was he for us from january. Take your blind hatred out of the equation
