Do you really think that SISU would have given AT a massive pay rise to become manager? I don't.

I think it would be substantially more than what he was paid for scout.

The man loves being a manager and has his family to think of. I don't blame him for not resigning; regardless of professional 'pride' etc.

A lot of fans at the match didn't realise KD was in the dug-out my and his mates a about a dozen or so were in block 17 and he didn't know until i told him when he came in

Yes - I had no idea and neither did anyone around me. (I spent the first half in the 'naughty corner' and the second back in my seat in the Tesco and nobody knew).

I always have CWR on, on the radio while I am watching the game so got to know very early on.

I think it just emphasises and underlines how infinitesimal SISU and KD's knowledge and understanding of football is - what did the bloke expect, a huge cheer? The only time I've seen non club personel on the bench is when Canterbury Crusaders Super 14 rugby team ran a fan comp to win the opportunity to watch a game from the bench.

The whole situation becomes more and more unreal with each week that goes by.

As for AT - I feel sorry for him at times with having to deal with whatever is going on in the boardroom, but he seems to be getting further out of his depth each game. Should the guy go who would come in? At the moment it seems KD is the only candidate, in that respect I hope AT stays.

I like AT as a man... but if my line manager in my job.. encroached on my responsibility in such an obvious, undermining and publicly humiliating fashion... I would resign. AT's position is surely now untenable. I think he would have a claim for constructive dismissal at a tribunal based on Dolalees actions. If Dolalee wasn't such an egotistical fool I might think he was putting pressure on Andy to resign... to save SISU some funds...

CCFC used to be a respected club.. but then they took an arrow to the knee.. in the shape of SISU

We need to sing a lot of obscene anti-Ken songs from now on. Make the evil creep feel some hate. That or one of us is going to have to take the lifetime ban and the assault charge and lamp the smug orange S.O.B.

I had no idea he was on the bench until I heard it afterwards. It's a shame people in attendance weren't aware as he would have surely got some 'attention'.

I can see this ending with ken coming on as a sub when we run out of players, orange face , white boney knobbly knees, a loud horrible athritic crack echo's around an empty arena, a white screen is put around a prostrate heap in the middle of the pitch, the vet is called and a shot rings out, but still sisu won't go.

Remember how that Nuneaton director got smacked unconscious by a "loose ball" during the warm-up early in the season? Have a word, Andy...then again, our lot would probably miss him!

I think you are spot on there, a simple chant is needed.

"We want SISU out & Ken D off the bench!"

Orange Ken should be embarrased with his actions. It appears he has decieded that he wants to see whats going on behind the scenes before reporting back to SISU before they decide on pulling the trigger. However, embarrasing Thorn and Harrison like this in effect carrying out an appraisal on them both in the public says a lot about the cut of the man. If he doubts them both then sack them but embarrasing them both like this shame on him.

If Thorn had some respect he should of walked out but I guess he is waiting for his pay off first.

Didn't realise he's an ex-met-copper. Yet another reason to dislike him.

IF he trys that trick again by entering the dug out I would somebody to march down there and drag him back by the ear to a seat in the stand and totally embarrase the prick.

Somebody I'm sure would love to humiliate the toad and I'm sure the staff wouldn't mind at all.

andy thorn resigns?

succinct posts 1 & all, it points the finger straight at our 'hofo = kd',
and once again the question must / should, be asked, and answered,
is this man a fit & proper person ?
my view, is that he is acutely suffering from delusions of grandeur,
he appears to be totally unaware of his surrounds ( all areas ),
and as such,
has / have the lunatics taken over the asylum ?

COVENTRY DESERVES MORE THAN THIS TREATMENT

There's no way in hell Thorn could be on £8k a week, he's a scout on a rolling managerial contract.

Well he claimed to have solved The Troubles in Northern Ireland last week, so yes, he certainly is suffering from delusions of grandeur. Totally agree with your "line that you don't cross" comment. He's broken the sanctity of the dressing room now. I can't see us recovering from such a mortal blow. As I've said before, I don't see us getting a single point as long as he does this. It's like expecting the players to play naked, that's how inhibited they seemed to be after the KD Dressing Room Ordeal.

Thorn really does need a real good look In The mirror and admit to himself that he's not good enough for the job and as a result should do the rightful thing and step down! Same with Harrison same with oggy!! The fact that twat is also sitting on the bench is turning this season in to a shameful shambolic struggle that really could have been prevented if we had set out the season with the right attitude towards every match with the squad we have got!!!

Have no idea what possessed KD to go sit on the bench...... what possible use could it be ?!. If he wanted a near dugout view get one of the seats behind or to the side. BUT sitting in the dugout doesnt give anyone any greater insight into the shambles we call a team.

Seriously under mined AT thats for sure and has detracted from the main issues that afflict the club. In truth it shouldnt matter but I know players like to keep a little mystery to the dugout and changing rooms as far as we fans are concerned.

Also what was to stop AT saying "look KD I know you are trying to help but you being here is restricting me, will be seen as under mining me and detracting from the efforts I am putting in to save the team - would you mind sitting somewhere else please" ........... What he hid behind was "I am an employee I do what I am told" . Sometimes as an employee you know some things are wrong and need to speak up for better of everyone - maybe get respected for it.............. CCFC were never going to sack him because he asked KD to move somewhere else now were they. Clueless on KD's part gutless on AT's. Both have helped create a story out of nothing and both are weaker for it.

We know that KD suffers from delusions of adequacy. Perhaps he really did think that being in the dugout and dressing room would help AT. God help us!!

This "Director of Football" nonsense smacks of the ludicrous role Dennis Wise undertook at Newcastle a couple of years ago.

Apparently he was being paid £1,200,000 per annum as D of F based in London and was responsible for recruitment of players, players contracts and transfers.

He visited St James Park just once per month to meet up with the owner and manager and this debacle went on for several months !!!.

Absolutely ludicrous

How do we know AT didn't say something similar to Ken behind the scenes and was just ignored.
He wouldn't be sacked for asking KD to move but he isn't going to come out and publicly criticise Ken in the post match interview as that could get him sacked if he went over the top in the interview.

it is possible that KD planting himself around the team is a response to AT remarks that ,"I will be told " on the LUcas situation prior to the window closing, and now almost demanding they backup their remarks about funds for loans in Jan

We dont I agree but if it is as outlined personally I wouldnt be staying around long and the best way to do it is for AT to get himself replaced - SISU would have to pay him up then. But do you really get the impression that AT would stand up to KD etc - if you ask me the guy has had the fight knocked out of him by the club and its owners
