Any chance of Put The Boot In actually attending a ccfc game?

No thought not.

I thought we were already ahead of the game with that strategy

No we are average by football standards and the average manager in charge of ccfc since 1918 has lasted less than 90 games.

I'm sure I read somewhere they are going to take their time in the next appointment. With MV winning 2 in 2 I think they are watching this space.

Bored at work average since 1918 is about 106. 40 changes of manager 4200 odd games played

venus prob will be our next manager but it makes sense to give him another 2 or 3 games before making official. i think most clubs would lovwe to be able to have a trial period with new managers!

They've won 2 games with a caretaker. No need for a knee jerk appointment. Derby and Villa are hardly clubs to look at as models are they? Both gone through a few managers in recent years.

'Hi Tim have you got a couple of minutes for SBT please?'
'Yes sure'
'Thanks Tim, we'd just like to know your thoughts on Derby appointing Mclaren and Villa appointing Bruce in the last day or two as Bruce the boot was asking'

So, a definite recipe for success then.

If it involves a good run that gets us up the table, sounds like quite a decent outcome to me.

If we lose on Sat, or, worse, are treated to a re-run of the 2007/08 performance, the mood for Venus will cool a hell of a lot.

Unlike at Vale I do not expect any "Tony Mowbray's Sky Blue Army" chants but if things go well then we could hear the same for Venus on Sat.
