We've been making significant losses (£m's) for years - its all on the accounts, of which there are numerous threads on here, where OSB has gone through them with a fine tooth combe. The ticket prices have only returned to pre-2015/16 levels, they were heavily discounted last season. Given our gates are down by aroubd 4-5k, its probably a good job they have changed the prices....

Yeah let's put up the prices, that will increase the attendances ( not )

the problem I have with the increase is the % they have gone up , but the budget has gone down.

You say it's a good job they put them up, we'll they must have seen it coming !!!

Attendance down, prices up just to stand still.

A brilliant way to run a business.

Prices returned to what they were before.

They were down last season, it isn't that complex.

If my memory serves me Correctly, it's gone down by about 2 hundred thousand pounds.

If im wrong no doubt some one will correct me.

really believe this lad has huge potential .
For me his all round game is far superior to James Maddison's , I know they slightly differ in roles but he has bags of potential .
Gets stuck in , has a good footballing brain , helps break up play , has good vision and passing range .
Very impressive performance today , although McCann was the king on show he clearly helps bring out the best in players like Ben

Over the years there have been many young players who look world beaters in their teens but never make the grade.
I remember my ex father in law supported Leicester and in 1974 they played QPR in the televised cup quarter final. Both were in the old first division, a lad called Joe Waters made his debut in that game and scored 2 stunning goals. The only thing I ever agreed on with my father in law was that Waters would go on to play for Ireland. Never heard of him again.
Here is the game .

Good old Jim. I think the last time I saw him was in the Chestnut after the Checkatrade final, when I was having a (very) late one, with his 87 kit suit (saw him in the ground too)... Shame he has missed the last four seasons... After suffering all the crap for the previous 15 years 🍻

Not as crazy as some. Young players fail for a huge variety of reasons. There was genuine potential there (not more than Maddison mind) but clearly something went very wrong.
As Fernando says wrong move for him & given the way he left I'd question his mental toughness too.

Fairly text book example of a young player making the wrong move just as things were looking good for him

A team of

RCC
Christie Willis Turner Haynes
Bigi Stevenson
Jones Madison ???
Wilson

Would've been amazing, with the likes of Spence the DKEs and Harries coming through as well.

Just imagine if we'd not signed anyone of the journeymen that have come our way in that time, could we have afforded to keep them all?

I can’t even remember who Spence was!

Was it the wrong move ? Wolves were on the ascendancy and got all the way to the prem at the time he would have been a mug to turn that down but for whatever reason it didn’t come off for him. It happens.

I think it was Andrea Pirlo said Football is played in the head, the feet are just tools. Very true
