Bottom of Div 3 and pretty much no one gives a shit. That's what 9 years of Sisu have done to the club and the fans.

There's a boycott coming up as a one-off show of solidarity against Sisu, hopefully making national news and putting the spotlight on them some more. I cant understand why everyone wouldnt at least give this approach a try, fans need to stand up and do something, show some fight.

I feel a bit of a cheat - it's my wife's birthday next Saturday (I'm a season ticket holder), so I was going to miss this before I knew about the protest - it feels like I'm only half-heartedly protesting now. Gutted by the result today, but my lad aced his 11+ (well done son) and can get into a school he really wanted to - so that trumps everything (pity I couldn't have the cherry on the top with 3 points, though). Will have to wait 15 years til my lad becomes a billionaire (no pressure), then he can buy SISU out!!

I still want to go up on Tuesday, but might not be back in time to make it.

Even though I am despondent and losing doesn't bother me anymore, I still want to go up in the hope that it will all get better one day soon.

I haven't got any hope it will get better soon. I still always go to the games though - but these days it's more because I feel I should be there rather than any actual enjoyment or anticipation of what might happen. I'all be there on Tuesday. Though I have a season ticket, I didn't even know we were playing on Tuesday until I heard the phone in after today's game. The results wash over me these days too. They don't effect my weekend at all.

To be a Coventry City fan has never been a bed of roses and we are really being tested right now, I have always felt dejected after a loss and uplifted by a victory, which is normal I suppose but frankly it hurts less than it used to. Its looking like we will be the next luton town. It shows how pathetic our owners are whenthe club languish at the bottom staring at relegation and they give mv the job until jan by which time it will be to late. He has no managerial experience and is responsible for bringing these players in who arnt good enough. What hope does a new manager have in january with no time to assess the team or get new players in.

I am really mixed about what is the best course of action, clearly we need a change of ownership but I am not sure how this would be achieved. I struggle to walk away from something I love and forget about it because we are going through shit times. I understand the starving them out approach and would be more supportive of this if there was visible action by 30,000 fans outside the ground each game but NOPM just seems to allow people to berate people for attending and then slag off the club without doing anything. If there was clear and backed responses to NOPM approach I would back this by not attending but it's 5 blokes sitting outside the ground at the moment so it doesn't stop me from going

Sign of things to come perhaps? That we all get so apathetic to it all that the club just frizzles away until it sinks into all but oblivion.

Feel for the fans who travel to away games. Brave, hardy souls that lot for sure.

Being an away fan is one of the most exciting thing about following City at the moment. Core City supporters...great stuff!!! Great to be there yesterday and hear Charlton fans saying they were out played and lucky to win, that the resulot wasn't a true reflection of the game...very true!!

I must have been at the wrong ground then as it didnt look like we were the better team from what i saw. Shambolic defending and a forward line who cant hit a barn door. Other than hitting the post did we look like scoring ?

The club doesn't have a right to a fan base, it earns one through being worth supporting. The easiest way is success on the pitch, if you're not offering that you need to nurture the feel of connection with the fans,weve been doing the opposite of that.

It's no coincidence that those who like to blame the fans and generally shit on other people are the ones that have this unachievable fantasy.

People are saying they've stopped caring and rather than wonder why you're pouring scorn on them like it's their fault. Which is just going to further push them away.

It's not the fans job to keep the club going, it's simply not. It's football not a vital service, people will find other stuff to do, life will go on. The only people who can change that trajectory is the people in charge of the product, not the customers.

Week after week, losses and word that if they keep playing like that they will be fine! 'Too good to go down' was the perpetual cry.


Well ..... they went down and with a very poor return of points too.

Absolutely no good at all if you are 'in games' and 'playing well' but keep losing.

The other worrying factor in all that is you are playing well and losing. Teams don't play well every week and have poor patches where they play badly.

What's going to happen when we hit our poor form patch then I wonder?

You can play all the good football you want, if you are being out-muscled that is going to result in your being out-fought on a consistent basis.

You could easily reverse those feelings of being a cheat by buying your wife a match ticket for her birthday and then both of you could boycott the game

In L2 we would still be bottom half, budget would be set at "breakeven" we would be out bid by most National league team for players.

Why would they be being kind? They were talking among themselves not to City fans. I think the general opinion is that the teams were pretty evenly matched and a draw would have been a fair result...

It doesn't matter to SISU what league we are in or what our league position is.
Having failed to make money out of us they are trying not to lose it, so if the income is reduced they will simply cut the budget even if that means relegation.
The club suffers. The fans suffer. SISU don't suffer.
