"Coventry will join Bradford and Manchester City in the Nationwide League next term but Richardson has told The Sky Blues faithful not to shed too many tears over the club's relegation.

Why do you get shot down for that? RR was a billy bullshitter, we were never debt free just that the debt was shifted from external sources (I.e. banks, etc) to sisu. I don't know why anyone really believed him. We've continued to lose £6-7m pa until the last year or so.

Did RR say that or not? wether he was "Billy Bullshitting" or not isn't the issue here is it! It's the same when I stated RR said "Make £20m ready to take the Club forward" I was called a liar by many on here. The essence is he DID say those things

I read comments by Danny Fox recently, who was talking about the challenge of playing at a bigger club because, with all due respect to Coventry, it is a mid-table Championship club. That’s where we are at the moment.

“Scott Dann went to Birmingham for five times what he was getting here. Would we have liked to keep hold of them? For sure, and if we had been in the play-offs at the end of last season it could have been a different ball game and they might have said they will give us another year here

Coventry City Chairman Ray Ranson has said that even if the 50% share of the Ricoh Arena was to be bought, it would not be worth it financially.
