this thread is a prime example of how starved of success we are. we've beaten a newly promoted team who, a couple of season ago were non league, a team we shoudnt be in the same division as, but we are , and instead of trying to resolve a situation that will inevitably see us fall further away down the divisions , we are arguing amongst ourselves yet again. on Saturday some people have chosen to try and make a difference by organising this march and boycott of the match v the fucking mighty Rochdale, we have an opertunity to ,just for once , show some solidarity and unity. if you want change you have to make it happen. I love city , ive been going to games as long as I can remember , and its because I love city so much I will be marching and boycotting the ONE match on saturday. the team are ok they can win one without us this time, in two season none of them will be here anyway. if you choose to go to the game ,that's up to you, but don't knock those who are trying to force a change that would be better for everyone including you .
The problem is unity and solidarity is difficult input situation. CCFC is such a cluster fuck and has been for about 20 years, there are so many parties that have contributed to the downfall of CCFC.

SISU are terrible owners, there's no denying this but the waters are muddied and everyone has an opinion as to what will make CCFC go forward. Unfortunately unless we all respect each other's opinion and consider all sides we'll never have the United front we need.

I've no doubt that this friction will rear its ugly head on Saturday, id be surprised if there wasn't any trouble

This bit. Can you guarantee it will be for the better? Do we have an alternative lined up if SISU left tomorrow? Could we fund the losses? Would we get an owner who is better than SISU? What if we get a Cellino or an Oyston? Or another SISU? What if the new owner also wants to run the club at breakeven and slowly build a team rather than buying one? Will we be marching and boycotting then? Will the CET draw up another petition? What if CCC don't like the new owners also? What if they too couldn't agree a Ricoh deal with Wasps?

We all want change, but not in a million years can you state it will be better. We have to be careful. We have had enough parasites leeching this club for years.

Oh and the back patting is embarrassing, like a group of kids. Well said blah blah. Sure you can think of something to abuse me with now :)

You an be assured that many of us will be on top of any trouble that arises, there is also a police presence, so those that do will be punished by the law, and rightly so. But I can also guarantee it won't just be the boycotters who can potentially start the trouble either.

The same Cellino who has invested heavily into the Leeds squad and club? Yes please.

This bit "and slowly build a team"......... 9 fucking years that's fucking slow. anything is better than the slow painful death were in. I suggest you help find a solution rather rock backwards and forwards with you worry beads muttering prayers under your breath.

apologies, I wasn't insinuating that it would be just the boycotters, there's a lot of idiots on every side!

At the end of the day Coventry City is a very emotive topic for a lot of us - is bound to bring out the worst in us when things go wrong (and best when someone cracks it!)

Solidarity and Unity doesn't work by acting like everybody must agree and do as you (by you, I mean the boycott rather than you individually) say.

I know you are saying it is up to them if they go to games, but all of the unity and solidarity crap with something as divisive as a boycott isn't the way to go about it.

Unity isn't "agree with me and you can be united" it is about finding something that everybody can agree with and going from there.

I said a new owner build a team, do you struggle with comprehension? I work nights so if you want me to give you some lessons in the day? Thing is if SISU liquadate the club, you will call them for that. If the club didn't move up the leagues it will be SISUs fault for liquadating, yet that's what you want?

A solution is support the team you claim to, they are not going anywhere. Spread positivity where possible. People won't come and watch shit losing football. They won't come into a negative, toxic atmosphere either.

Oh and I'm an atheist so I don't pray. Keep the ramblings coming though.

good luck with that nick........ I think its called divide and conquer , a concept that keeps the masses squabbling amongst themselves while who ever is in charge rules with impunity .

The ironic thing though is that the people doing the shouting are the ones doing the dividing without realising.

all of this "be united with fellow fans and boycott" is shite.

How about we compromise, we all link up 30000 email addresses - secretively decide on random games where we all turn up causing havoc as the club will have no idea how much policing is needed, followed by total boycotts?

If new owners were 100% committed to the good of CCFC, I'd be more than happy for this to happen. At least it would show they care, whereas our present owners don't give a flying f**k!
Oh! and you do enough of that yourself mate, don't be a pompous arse!

Said that also before, if people want to cause mayhem then just secretely plan a massive walk up on games. They have to delay it then.

He's interested in Football, SISU aren't, you couldn't make up your logic of thinking...

He's owned football clubs before, SISU haven't. So on that note it's a yes from me.

You're funny. People complain about SISU's morals etc. Yet here you are championing a fraudster. Couldn't make it up.

Just proves peoples problem with SISU is not morals, it's them not throwing money at the club.

I said the whole "unite the fans" about the boycott, which was shite. Not the boycott.

As a boycott is divisive. When it is saying "support your fellow fans" by boycotting is divisive.

I haven't said anything against anybody who wants to do it, it is up to them.

Nothing to do with throwing money at the club, it's about having an owner who brought a club to do one thing, support it...

It's not just a boycott though, there is a march happening too, men, women and children will all be attending it, all with the same mentality that they love the club, and hate the way it's being run, is that shite too?

Well taking into account Tony's revelation, as money laundering is happening, and he is a fraudster? Eh, I'm not saying that's what he's up to.

It is, people call on SISU to invest, they won't. So people protest and boycott.

Wrong again. It is morals something that "Devout Christian" owner of ours fails to see extremely regularly. What devout Christian would deny decent people their right to be able to watch their 132 years old Football Club play in the Community where it was born? Oh! I forgot she has a duty to her investors. What about her Christian duties to the people of Coventry?

You think people are protesting all because SISU won't invest? Are you even remotely serious or just on a wind up?
