But as many people have taken the same stance as me, then essentially you have abused many fans, but you knew that anyway.
Never mind, get it off your chest now so you can be on your best behaviour when you march Saturday, you are marching aren't you?
Well - for once I agree wholeheartedly with you. I can see why people get snubbed. I would think SISU would do some background checks on people they deal with. ( Pity they weren't so hot when they bought us ). I have looked at most of those sites and there are some pretty objectionable viewpoints there. The fraudster Tommy Robinson ( or whoever he calls himself today ) is now showing himself with Pegida ( leader, well known criminal Lutz Bachmann ) in Dresden.
I find it troubling to learn that the fan group had someone with these views as chairman. ( I assume your information is correct, if not, sorry Steve ).

to be honest, I don't mind a business model that cash's in on players if it also includes securing the long term future of the club by sorting out the issues surrounding the academy and where we play, and has some sort of strategy for taking the club forward.
If we were fan owned that's how they'd have to run it in all likelihood, at least short to medium term.

Yes, but they are not representing us. If he has those views, it would be sensible to hide them if he wants to be a figurehead of a non political ( hopefully ) fan group.
I know I wind people up but was genuinely shocked at who he follows. Could be made to look very dodgy if that sort of info (very easily accessible) was used against the protestors...

Let's just make it clear that because somebody agrees with 1 view about SISU for example, it doesn't mean they agree with everything automatically though....

A lot of people have said that the club is a tax loss, doesn't the boycott idea just play into their hands if this is the case? Has the idea of filling the Ricoh for Sphinx/United ever come up? Seeing how there is a big split among us with swathes not wanting to give cash to SISU and others not wanting to abandon the team. We could give the footballers of those teams a day they would never forget, boost their clubs coffers with big ticket sales. Create record attendances for the league they are in which, according to wiki is 1280. An attendance of 20,000 plus for a midland alliance game would hopefully gather media attention. This could be done in the name of Coventry fans unity, a show of numbers to attract potential owners. Sphinx v United is scheduled for boxing day. We are playing away and Wasps are not due to play. I have no idea if this can be done, however its worth considering rather than the name calling etc thats happening re the boycott idea. 30,000 fans in unity watching 2 local teams go at it at the ricoh on boxing day. Protests, celebrations and positivity. Hopefully.

not at all, but my point is selling players isn't necessary the great evil that people make it out to be if done within the right framework by the right people.

I'm absolutely NOT just saying it is just a Twitter problem. It certainly is his problem. I was just saying there are lots like him on Twitter. No, I don't follow anyone like that, because my views aren't like that.
He follows anti-Islam feeds, Britain First, Pegida, Stop Immigration UK and more unsavoury stuff.
I was going on the march and then go into the ground but I am not going to march with a leader of a group with such repugnant and racist views.

Why would people want to boost the coffers for other football clubs as a protest? Wasn't this attempted with the women's football?
It doesn't do much for united the CCFC fanbase to go and watch other teams.

Apologies to Mart and Andreas. I didn't word my post very well. I absolutely agree. I was pointing out that there are many people like Steve with unsavoury views on Twitter. I do not agree with his views in the slightest and I'm not going to march along side him. No one like him should be leader of any group and more fool anyone who forgives his views because "they just want SISU out".

The point would be to unite and show the potential we have to fill the ricoh with Coventry City fans. I'm not talking about arranging it as a big pay day for the two clubs. As a side note the two non league clubs would get a small financial boost. It can't be a bad thing to help local non-league teams. Also I'm not saying go and watch each of these teams every week instead of CCFC as an alternative. I just can't see any agreement forthcoming on total boycotts or filling the Ricoh for a CCFC match. Its not going to happen.

No-one is following anyone but themselves, not many even know who steve is and I've been to fans forums, either that or I never paid much attention to this bloke. Walk with the fans, not 1 person, you'll find hundreds doing the same..
