Couple of thoughts from the video on sbp

Interesting he said he much prefers a back four rather than wing backs and he struggled with playing as a wing back as he didn't really understand where he was supposed to be or when, and also physically really struggled with it. Funny everyone else could see it wasn't working either but TM was too stubborn to change it for ages.

Also really liked the bloke asking the questions rather than the mumbling jumbling guy scared to ask questions (was that Geoff Foster before?). I think the bloke doing that interview is the same one I prefer doing the commentary. What's his name again? Linnell or something.

I liked that he pointed out that changing the team every week was pissing the fans off and was it a specific policy of his to not change a winning team, to which he said yes basically.

Just thinking out loud!

Haven't heard it as do not have SBP but sounds like he's talking sense. Just hope he doesn't get injured as then we'd really be up poo creek.

We've got an intelligent bunch of footballers this year. All the interviews with players this week - Sordell, Page, Sterry and Rose, they've come across as smarter than your average footballer. Dunno if that was specifically recruited for or a coincidence but they've all interviewed very well.

Mowbray looks at character. His legacy lives on at cov this season

Thank you tone!

You also said bigi was shit...

Actually I've never used that expression I believe though you have against a player I also believe.

From what I've seen of him I do not believe he has what it takes if we have aspirations to do well in this league. A bit part player acting as comer perhaps but top teams in this league wouldn't look at him.

He's currently behind Stevenson, an absolute novice in the midfield stakes and McCann even with us. When teams are performing at a level that's below acceptable mediocrity rises to the top.

If we had retained fleck and Vincelot and signed McCann he wouldn't even be 5th choice.
