Not going a bad job for us isnt a good enough return on pissing about force fitting the whole team around him, consistantly wasting a starting 11 spot on him and subsequent substitution while he built his fitness up, and god knows how much budget.I saw some critcism of Cole here - i thought he did'nt do a bad job for us - when JOB left we went pearshaped - was that TM or JOB - Kent also provided an outlet as we don't have today

He fell in love with the idea of signing a coup who has experience in higher leagues. Because of his stupid fascination with him and Bigi we fell off
The irony of someone with your username trying to back mowbrays signings is hilariousBit harsh - i'm with Covcity4life - granted he did not have the Dennis Wise effect but he had some effect and a few goals plus free kicks which we now waste everytime
Why didn't we get promoted last season then?Yea I don't have a clue. You're a fucking muppet Nick.
How much was spent on these players, answer zero hence no investment of the right type of below.Didn't mowbray sign about 5 players in January?
Ramage henderson Cole bigi hunt?? None of those would have been cheap signings and Mowbray chose to sign them. How can you say the owners didn't back him when he signed that load of shite?
Are our fans this stupid or do they know they're talking complete shit but don't care because it's easier?
How much was spent on these players, answer zero hence no investment of the right type of below.
And people say football players are greedy??They weren't paid anything? Wow.
Hold on mowbray had his own budget and made that very clear. Whether he spent it on wages or transfers was his choice. How much was spent on these players, answer zero hence no investment of the right type of below.
So the manager didn't have an unlimited budget like the rest of league one, you are right, it's outrageous. How much was spent on these players, answer zero hence no investment of the right type of below.
I'd add continued rotating of the midfield and lack of plan bChanging a winning formula to accommodate Cole and the return of Maddison. Losing Kent, Reda, Turner
You are a very simple man.How much was spent on these players, answer zero hence no investment of the right type of below.

This I have to agree on. We finished 8th but it felt like a very poor season due to the momentus slide down the table.I have to admit it was the worst season I can remember because of the sheer fall from grace. Would have been easier to take if we'd have been shit all season
Biggest problem was our fans got carried away and over estimated our ability. The first half flattered us. Yes we were in a great position but Walsall and Burton. around Christmas were the tests; they broke our backs.
.
That was a big, big turning point. The frustrating thing is we dominated the Walsall match for the first hour, and were comfortably the better side in the first half v Burton. It was only after Phillips' inexcusable mistake that it fell apart.
You hit the nail on the head, and then he did a runner with his tail between his legs.Poor management purely and simply.

It felt so much like failure as we seemed to be destined for top 6 minimum.
I can't see how it can be judged as anything other than a failure when we missed out on a play-off place having had a place firmly held within our grasp.
before the season people who liked your status were saying 10th would be good
lol fickle
Nothing to do with being fickle cc4l. It's not the finishing 8th(Normally good finish) but the way we finished 8th that is s**t.
Yeah, BEFORE the season.before the season people who liked your status were saying 10th would be good

Seems he must have exceeded it too.Hold on mowbray had his own budget and made that very clear. Whether he spent it on wages or transfers was his choice.
Well it's all about opinions, but I see little in Sterry or Page over our own grown players apart from physique.and to think people stood up for phillips!
and even now people say stuff like sterry is ok,nothing more
but hes still alottttttttt better than phillips
upgrade
Two biggest factors were: loss of JOB and arrival of Cole and Madders actually reduced our dynamism going forward and made Areas goals dry up. And losing Read then Turner meant the ball stayed down our end more again meaning less chances for our sterling attack.
The fact that a big fucker and someone with JOBs energy in the middle weren't top of our transfer list is one reason I don't mind losing Mowbray even though I rated him. It was clear how important a big fucker at the back is and we either aimed too high or failed to identify enough targets.
I'd just like take the opportunity to let you know how much I laughed loud at your repeated description of "big fucker" hahaha.
