We played well today. Lots of passion
How about an amnesty for a few weeks. No negative shit against the owners and support the team
Who knows where it may take us.
PUSB.
No marches, no NOPM, no negativity. Just support MV and the team.
Let's get a couple of 15k gates and see where the positivity takes us.

FFS. Just because i chant against SISU doesn't mean I'm not backing the team. I have heard that same tired illogical argument enough times now. Get it into your head; it's because we support the team that we want sisu out. Why not unite against them???

Doh !!
Just support the team and ignore SISU.
Today we were 1-0 up and all you could hear was "we want SISU OUT"
My point is just give the anti SISU stuff a rest for a few weeks and support the team
We all hate SISU but they are going no where this season so just spend the energy on supporting the team.

Whatever your view, could you please NOT make pointless match threads! :arghh:

In fact.... Nick. surely there is something you can do to prevent this plank-like behavior?

There was SISU Out chants when we beat Oxford and Rochdale.

Is that your best thought on the subject.
Are you a traffic warden or something similar.

I have plenty of thoughts on the subject thanks.
Are you a full time twat?

I will be traveling up with my lad on Tuesday to support the team as much
As we can, we will also join in with any anti SISU protests or chanting.
The pressure has stepped up against them just recently and should not be
Relaxed under any circumstances. IMHO

I don't know. The more SISU out gets chanted the better we seem to play. I wouldn't be so sure that the players and playing staff don't want rid either ;)

Surely the Cov lads playing for CCFC will despise SISU too? And surely they will explain this to players that don't have CCFC close to their heart?

I don't think any of the protests should stop. I don't think there is any evidence that they affect the team. The poor start to the season, I am sure, has added to people's discontent. However Sisu's " charge sheet" contains much more than simply poor team performance. There is no way back for them. They need to go. Even in the unlikely event of promotion this season, they need to go.

Quite possible to have two thoughts in your head at the same time. For most people at least.

Thought 1: I'm glad we're playing a bit better & picking up a few points.

Thought 2: I still want sisu out.

No contradiction there as far as I can see.

What tommy rot the team gets fantastic support everything considered. We are playing a lot better than we were. We all know though that come the next transfer window there's a great chance a couple of our young stars will be sold off when really sisu should okay a couple of signings to give us a decent chance to get to the better part of the division

The SISU out chants quiet often lead into normal chants (and vice versa), and get the fans going. I would imagine that all the players hear is noise as opposed to what exactly is being said.

Anyhow, I think the players must know by now that the supporters support them 100%, there is a clear difference between the owners and the team.

Haven't seen the goals on tv but thought their goal was a well hit goal rather than Burge fault, they passed it all around our defence, it was a great goal to be fair

Surely supporting the team makes you a SISU apologist;)

Usually , I think most of your replies are pretty much on the mark . however , taking what you're asking the fans to do and , the time of night you posted this - i'll put it down to Alcohol . ;) Personally , the team could be top of the league [ I'm sorry for the players , because they're the innocent victims in this aswell as the fans ] but no way am i investing my money and precious time in keeping SISU at CCFC . they've proved beyond doubt they have nothing but contempt for fans and are not here for football reasons .

Exactly but it's amazing how many people cannot grasp this. In the main, i have found that those making the same point as the OP tend to be less hostile to our owners than your typical fan.

NOT sisu
There is a difference between the two although some find that simple concept hard to grasp.

There has never been a time when I would not support the team, as opposed to supporting the club. I remember being disenchanted with various regimes over the years( even the great Jimmy Hills time as chairman was fraught with issues and dissent especially over the all seater stadium plans- he was proven to be a visionary once again) Its not politics or religion, its a sport, so get behind the 11 representing our City. Is Coventry City, not sisu City.

There are still fans who refuse to attend

OP is right. if we got everyone down ricoh maybe we could start to play like a big fish in small pond

But then maybe we would also buckle

Either way I hope we do so well that come early next year we are hitting over 15k gates

Fans will come when there's a product on the pitch. So it has always been. Instead of whining we aren't getting them now at the arse end of L1 we should take comfort knowing there's a steady supply should we ever find success of any sort.

Thankfully sisu have given us a good budget for league 1 two years in a row. I think last year maybe playoffs this year?

January is key for me.

Recruit well in January and maybe we can have a real stab at it.

Think we'd have to be within 6 or 7 points of top 6 to do that though.

We ALL support CCFC ,
Not SISU,
Some people don't understand the concept- whilst supporting the players you're also supporting SISU .

No so sure about that anymore many have turned their backs on the club for good or at least whilst the current owners are here. once they find better things to do with their Saturday's or Tuesday's that's it . finito !
