What's happened to him? Last I heard he was out on the grass same as Rose, but this was weeks ago.

Seems a bit strange unless I've missed something...

He had a much more serious injury & an operation. Shouldn't be rushed.

Who do we lose in Jan, is it just Page and McCann ?

That frees up room for Joey Barton and Joe Cole

Page, McCann, Sterry, Wright, Agyei, McBean - all loanees go back unless we extend. McCann will go as the new MLS season starts. I'd maybe keep Sterry and Agyei as cover but not bothered about the rest.

What I dont get about McCann being here, how come players like Joe Cole and La Galaxy are playing?

I think the current season is just coming to a close, and then the new season starts again early next year. The team McCann is joining (Atlanta United) are a new franchise that only start their first competitive games next season. They've signed some players already but loaned them out as they can't play yet.

Atlanta is a big city but I think it's strange McCann is going there. If I was going to play in the states I'd try and pick somewhere better personally.

Who's sterry covering? he's first on the sheet, we have no right backs
Agyei can go tho , we have more than enough for his position

I'd only keep Sterry unless McBean starts firing. Stokes will be back, McCann is going regardless. Wright and Agyei can go for me, both are poor, must be better options out there than them. Saying that i'd put money on Agyei starting tomorrow.

Ah that explains it, thought it was a bit weird.

I wonder if there is an option to keep him beyond that? From the small snippets I've seen of te Wycombe game and the whole of the second half of the Morecambe game, he looks far more useful with his back to goal than Agyei or Wright.

I think January will tell us a lot where we could be heading, all those going back need replacing plus I think we could do with another striker and defender. and might yet need a manager !

Post of the day.
Anyone wanna bite this?

I don't think he has been as bad as many have said. He's a competent defender and this level. No all this talk of playing stokes at centre back is silly but once we ditched the wing back system has page had a bad game?

He's got a couple of assists, been a lot better since the change.

Would a club want to buy someone that's coming back from a serious injury having been out for 9 months with no game time?
I tend to agree, I like him but he isn't a championship level player so I cant see anyone in league one spending money on someone who's been out for so long and not even back on the grass yet when they could have him for nothing in the summer

They did with Callum Wilson and James Maddison, I think he's been fit for a while but is the only one we could command decent money for upto half a million I reckon. Fisher has told us we have to sell in January, who else is there ? Maybe Stevenson who is also conveniently injured.

Stokes will never attract that level of fee IMO.
When did Stevenson become injured?
Their best hope will be to see Wilson move on from Bournemouth.
