Have emergency loans been completely phased out??
I would pick a 5 man midfield with Bigi, Reid and Finch, with Jones and Ruben either side with instructions to mix it up in the middle of the park so we win the body count. Bigi in particular is unfortunately in the "undroppable" category just like Willis and Turnbull, not because of his quality performances (LOL) but because there just isn't anyone else we can pick at the moment.

Would imagine so.
Felt for Maycock today what an awful time to be thrown into the first team squad, his brief spell he reminded me of Jack Finch even to look at and his demeanour, hopefully he'll have a better time of things than Finch.

We have a wafer thin squad and it consists of....
Rose -------Missed most of season so far
Stokes -----Missed all the season so far
Thomas ---Missed near all the season so far
Ricketts----Retired due to injury
McCann---We got 9 games out of him
In a squad like ours, we cant afford to have 5 out of our 16-18 man squad injured.

As I noted above, Finch has sunk without trace. I'm sure that he wouldn't have been retained last season if his contract had been up.

But as you point out, the problem isn't that we've lost a few key players, but that our squad is so poor that we can't cope with it. All teams get injuries like this, it's just that other teams have cover for the eventuality..

Finch !!! ffs its months since he played and was thrown in the deep end by Pressley nowhere near ready at just 17, give the kid a fucking break.

I am sure Finch will go on and gave a good career at Coventry United or somewhere like that his days as a pro are numbered. We was thrown in like Stevenson and Maddison but he is nowhere near them.

MCCanns loan finishes on the 31st December so he could play in 6 more games...... if he did that would have been 15 out of 31 games, the likely hood is it will be 9 out of 31.... the loan signing that totally hasn't benefited us like it was ment to!

Might as well throw Bayliss In as well he's just signed pro forms
A similar build and player but more advanced up the pitch.
Seriously though wouldn't want to wreck him. but you never know he may just float if thrown in.

From what I've read on here, hes still playing in the u23's but Thomas, mcbean, DKE seem to be the main attacking threats and have scored a lot of goals.
