I don't know why they even put a story like that in the paper? Simon even had a laugh at the photo himself.

It's a joke really, who goes to the paper with stuff like that?

I like how they were that abused, they did another article on it and left the comments on for another round...

As abuse goes, it's not exactly Mark Halsey level.

They wouldn't have lasted five minutes on GMK

My thinking too.

Why go to the newspaper with such an insignificant, unimportant story. Had they had appalling customer service I could understand, but this all seems quite trivial.

The thing is, the telegraph seem to be the ones getting a lot of stick about even running it (in their own comments, which usually dont make sense) yet still ran another one on it.

There's a certain art to that kind of disgruntled customer photo. This is a beauty because the kid's thrown himself into it despite the juxtaposition of the jaunty sweater

The absolute masterclass of course is the old couple who were charged for porn they didn't order

Oh yes, they didn't order the porn.

Did they, Ron?

I recall a mum at my daughter's school a few years back. She went to the Telegraph to complain that she took a very small baby to the pantomime at the Belgrade and the baby was refused entry.

She went straight to the Telegraph to complain and the vast majority of comments after it was published were very much on the side of the theatre, saying 'of course you can't take a baby to a show.'

I don't get why that is somebodys first though?

I put my email address wrong so it means a delivery is late, it's my fault. It's as if they want to broadcast stupidity.

The only good thing about the whole article is the kid trying not to burst out laughing!

It's OK, Gilbert's already said it's the most popular story.

I do kind of fear he may have missed the point that it's most popular with people asking whether the paper can really stoop so low but... I still have faith he realises that!

Is it bad that it gets to the point they revel in people telling them they aren't very good?

Today we have somebody who is cold in hull, because of a missed appointment.

Dad of seven FURIOUS after shivering family left without heating

But the dad-of-five claims no one turned up, and his agoraphobic wife and young children were left shivering in the bitter 7C temperatures at his new home in Hull.

I think parody is going to be the new thing, bad times.

7 degrees is like a heatwave in Hull.

Plus he could have just gone and topped his electric up as his electric was working fine, but chose not to.

It is a bit embarrassing really, "man in another city's family are cold because he refuses to pay for electricity".

What a desperate paper it has become two non stories is it just to fill up the pages? I suppose it must be difficult for them though as they can only kick the football team and kiss the arse of the franchise minority sport team so must struggle to fill.
