SOMETHING ABOUT JR D (38 Viewers)

"The aim of the legal action is not yet clear but it is likely Sisu would like to see the deal undone or for compensation to be paid for the negative impact on the football club"

even if (and its a huge if) SISU won JR2 I am not sure how the deal could be unpicked. The court could require CCC to revisit the decision on the sale of its 50% but I doubt it could make the Charity do that, and in any case they may well reach the same decision. It could penalise CCC but any payment of fine would not go to SISU, so even if the shares or lease was sold for undervalue no funds to SISU from the court case .

Then SISU take new court action for damages. They would have to prove they had a right to be offered a deal, that they had a connection to the stadium that gave that right, that it was this decision to sell to Wasps that damaged the club at the time (2014) and since, that they had made their intentions clear etc. They could not I think argue that the sale to Wasps was responsible for the losses before Oct 2014 so that knocks a big hole in any compensation claim

of course by that time, Oct 2014, SISU had broken the CCFC right to occupy the stadium and moved the club away. They had returned as a day renter with limited access to the stadium, their owner had said they would not interfere with the share sale, and the directors past and present repeatedly stated they were going to build their own stadium or partner up at BPA. They had of course argued that there was no value in ACL whilst proceeding with JR1. Would a court really be persuaded that the clubs fall from grace, its financial mess, was down to the sale of the shares and a lease extension? The rights to compensation look to be even more tenuous than under JR1

That's how I see it too.

Every non attender reduces the amount the club can spend. It is a self sufficient club so supporters determine its budget

But SISU run CCFC as a business, they have made that clear. If they offered entertainment and a pleasurable experience more people would attend. If my local restaurant serves up shit food or gives poor service people eat somewhere else. I know football is more tribal but we all find other stuff to do on a Saturday afternoon ( or Sunday this week)
What is complicated about it !!
I know you are City's most important and loyal fan but even you must be pissed off with the whole experience.

Its the impact of NOPM - some people seem to get a kick out of it

This is the NOPM campaign that you've insisted for years is an excuse for people who wouldn't go anyway to use for not going.

The impact is as a result of ill advised court cases turning fans of, a result of an ill advised move to Northampton for god knows what purpose, a result of ill advised BS regarding everything from "moving on" to "building anew" to "we've identified X amount of sites" to "Were talking to X amount of authorities and agencies" to "exciting announcement in the new year" etc. etc. etc.

Pull your head out of your arse for a change. You championed this BS at every stage and now the cards have inevitably come crashing down you lay blame at a door you previously dismissed.

This is why he is mocked at every turn in his life.

I wonder if Bury fans,, or any other club in this league for that matter blame stay away fans for their plights and achievements considering we still pull in over double there attendances, simply amazing on how deluded some fans on here are.

Under normal circumstance/ownership I'd fully agree.

Think it's incredibly naive to think that the increase in revenues brought about by bigger attendances will be used to retain sellable talent.

They're not here for the wellbeing of the football club, they're here to garner any form of compo available.

So staying away HELPS the club's finances then?

Apart from a few people citing COPM, most fans are not boycotting because of SISU....it's just a case of increased apathy as a direct result of how poor we have been in recent times.

I keep seeing people moaning on Facebook about 2016 as a result of the deaths of Prince, Bowie etc and also the political shocks of Trump and Brexit, but 2016 has been abysmal from a CCFC fans' point of view (today's news is the best thing to have happened this year which says something, given how rosy things were looking after the Crewe hammering at the first game of 2016). At the end of the year it'll be interesting to see our record for the calendar year vs every other team in the 92...us and Palace will be fighting for bottom spot I think.

The numbers of people actually staying away as a protest rather than just because it's not fun any more is tiny and massively outweighed by those that just can't be arsed. This whole "staying away" meme is ridiculous. If people cared but aren't going they'd be at all these ridiculous protests that have maybe 200 people on a good day. Ten times that don't turn up because the experience is shit.

We've lost our normal wastage pretty much throughout our history, our gates post-Northampton were pretty bang on the trend if we hadn't left.

We're just a shit club in decline. Blaming each other for that is just silly.

I am not doing NOPM. However I can see the rationale of those who do.
There is a point where SISU will realise breakeven is not achievable.
NOPM speeds up the arrival of that point.
At the moment selling players is delaying it.

Whereas our owners actions have proactively encouraged fans to remain loyal, old ones to return and new ones to arrive.

Get a grip you idiot.
Let's be honest - to get your "loyalty" they'd have to pay you to attend.

I haven't championed any of it. Why are you lying?

Does this mean more legal fees are due to the Council?

SISU and Fisher have behaved disgustingly with no justification for doing so. They have been handed their butts on a plate again so let's just enjoy it and not mock the messenger - the CT aren't an enemy of CCFC fans, they're on our side!

I guess they are also waiting for a spin off from Callum Wilson which will further prolong the agony !

Just to be clear was this the hearing over if they could appeal the Supreme Court or the European Court? If its the Supreme Court can they still go ahead to the European Court or is that the end of it?

Yawn.

I tell you what, how about you go and sit in a room with PWKH and Captain Dart and discuss more ways to make multiple accounts to spin your shit?

Who's side are you on when you say things like this result is more important than promotion?

It's funny how people say let's be honest just before bullshitting. Been a total of 5 games this season and personally paid for 8 tickets at full face value as at 3 of those games I've took someone with me and paid for their ticket.

What's the next lame ass excuse you come come up with to try and validate your bullshit over my opinion? Just kicked the last one out of the park.

You were chomping at the bit for a council defeat that was never coming. You even tried to claim that SISU had lost the JR deliberately at one point such is the dribbling moron that you are. You also have never been able to bring yourself to say it's time to stop with this nonsense. Even now.

The notice posted above says "Supreme" Court so Europe might be available
They could try and float JR2 first and get a reaction to that
