Can you not see the irony in a "season ticket boycott" and cuts though?
It's the chance people are possibly prepared to take now.

Yeah, i can but if you are the seller its your job to show a product and what it can do, as a buyer you decide if its worth money or time to listen. The buyer in this case has heard enough, seen enough of the same to want change, and is prepared to stop funding something they love and care about to its detriment to alter the pattern.
Irony is a word you can use in this but hope is a better word to describe the whole situation, Nick the fans are losing hope and are willing to watch something else until a change brings another chance of hope. All of this is sad not about who is right or wrong or who's post gets a pat on the back, the fans need hope of any kind at the moment, even if its false hope, This false hope could be a deciding factor in why this topic has come about and is being taken seriuosly.

Seems to me we are all caught between a rock and a hard place...nobody knows what is the best course of action to end the tenure of our almost universally loathed owners.
If we don't buy a ticket next season we could go out of business v quickly (perhaps start but not complete the season) or it could mean SISU are forced to sell (but would there be realistic buyers and what would they think of a fans boycott? And does anyone seriously believe that when people fill their Saturdays with other things they will come flooding back with a change of owners...if so I think that is a misjudgement).
Or the club could hang on for a couple of seasons with ever decreasing revenue, gates, investment in players. Perhaps a relegation or two. Where will that leave the future of CCFC in the medium to long term? A further downward spiral.
Or we carry on as we are...bouncing along in the lower reaches of league one. Gates slowly dwindling unless we have a spell of football like early last season that was refreshing and exciting and had us all dreaming of better things.
Whatever happens the worse thing we could do as a set of fans is implode with bickering and recrimination. But that is more likely than SISU leaving I think.
I want a club I can feel part of (no matter if we are premier league or out of the league), a club that makes me proud (not because they are successful but because they try and do the right things). My football club is slowly dying and there is no magic answer

I think you'll find that those who buy season tickets next season are very unlikely to be fresh blood. They'll be continuing from this season and are used to it. They won't give a toss what the opinion on here is. I'm a season ticket holder who won't be renewing. Do I giver a toss ? Not at all.

I do plenty of debating on here thanks. If they had posted that on here, I would have debated, they didn't so I reserve the right to highlight the Irony of stopping to buy a ccfc ST and instead buying a wasps one. If he had said he was getting a CRFC one, I wouldn't have called him a bellend.

I've debated with people of all persuasions over the last four or five years and will continue to. I will be renewing.
And so you should, whatever you decide about a ST is an individuals decision, why you would buy as of right now i understand, the same as i understand those who say without change they will not be having one. If i was in a position i would not be buying a ST as i just dont see where the club is going wit or without the fans, doesn't make me right just i have had held that position since the day NTFC became a part of our histiry..

I would assume most are thinking that the money lost in revenue from ST sales will hurt Sisu forcing them to fund or ask the investor for more, which will not come, so in effect cause a reaction from the owners in reagards to the future ownership of the club. Publicity: the unwanted news it would bring to Sisu itself as a running concern is something they hate and are frightened of. And lastly in why this could be effective is it would bring having a meeting with the FL a very uncomfortable one in regards to future ownership of the club. The FL will have sympathy towards fans who are just walking away, due to lack of future than throwing objects onto the field, marching or creating disruption which is what Sisu will say if any of those things were done.
You must admit Sisu have played the victim very well, and if fans just walked away then its Sisu answering question to the powers that be about failing gates and not just them deflecting it on what they call a few idiots or people that are harming the club. If i was heading this action i would push for the sympathy card as io know the FL fear loss of fixtures and falling gates at clubs. Sisu need to answer question without them being able to use any distraction to misdirect the question, if this is the reason i would say its the most positive message we as fans can send about the plight of the club.

great to hear. I can completely see why several thousand will renew and can completely see why several thousand have walked away.
My view Gren is i don't care what the opinion is of an individual, if you think calling someone an idiot as a first reaction of them thinking differently is going to persuade, alter or make that person change to your way of thinking, then id say you would be wrong. If you had an opinion, information and reason for why you feel this way then relate it, you have more chance of reaching and changing peoples mind who have a difference of opinion. We as a society have lost that ability to debate, its not just about on here its in every media outlet available.
So i dont care who said what, or why they think the way they do on whatever outlet they state it, everyone has the right of reply and opinion. Its how you change it is where we could all improve and get on the same page.

This is where the club miss a trick. To counter this they should come out and make some form of statement regarding the club and their medium term intentions.
They should also say they will reward loyalty and for a £50 deposit offer season tickets for next season at £200 - offer ends December 31st

Possibly but i would try and counter the NOPM negativity with a killer offer which would attract purchasers.
It's only a deposit so the actual majority of funds wouldn't be available as they have not gone to the club until the end of this season
This is why most have the opinion they don't care, most clubs are proactive in anything like this, they think about the future not react to situation that come about. They are very slow and have been for 8 years now on being a progressive club, they really and truly have no idea how or what to do with the club, its fans or how you relate that to business.

But most of it isn't really NOPM, we've had a whole calender year of dross.
Many fans have stated they feel cheated on purchasing this seasons ST.
You and I have both said in the past we could pay more and they were getting too cheap to sustain for this level, non league clubs have charged similar.
The football club should not pay the price for being stuck with the most unpopular owners and Chairman, it would have the same effect as a further 10% becoming NOPM, which is probably the percentage or less who are.
I don't hide it I loathe them and him, I've managed to stay up to now but even though they've had my dollar I'm unsure whether I'll be there for the rest of this season.
I simply do not enjoy going up there at the present, more out of loyalty to my brother.
I would however support an earlier period to open and close sales if it meant the manager could do the majority of trading by mid July and finish with the final few by mid August.

I can also why people have walked away,I'm pretty certain that if I don't renew then I could quite easily become one of them. This is the bit that keeps me going the fact that after all these years I could become like a lot of my friends i.e. Don't go anymore and laugh at me still going.
