Just finished watching prison break, first 2 series were ok but it descended into a farce.
Watched it all but didn't enjoy the last 2 series.
I'm looking for something next to binge on, a good thriller would suit me.
Done breaking bad(best programme ever)
Done Dexter(mediocre)
Any recommendations chaps?

F is for family

Pretty much all the Louis Theroux documentaries

There's also a great couple of documentaries one is called " who took jonny" bit grim but interesting
Also on you tube there's a documentary called the impostur it's a fascinating true story about a guy from France who assumes a missing American lads identity only to discover that the family know he's not who he claims to be

Loved Prison Break, in fact I've watched it twice.

Agree it goes a bit strange later on, but I still really enjoyed it. Season 4 was full of twists and turns.

I watched Prison Break off the recommendation of a friend ("best TV show ever"). The first series was OK, but then, like you say, it just turns into a complete farce. It is almost laughable at times. Everything about it; the gaping plot holes, the terrible acting, the pathetic aimless storylines etc etc. It was as though they were making everything up as they went along.

I've lost count of the amount of people proclaimed dead in the show, only to then show up miraculously a season or two later. I watched all of the series out of curiosity and genuine intrigue as to how bad it can get, and I was not disappointed. Gives Lost a run for its money as the worst, most pointless TV series in existence.

I think I watched the first couple of Prison Break but couldn't really get into it. The same as Lost as well.

People say breaking bad the best TV ever, I'm not sure. I am gripped to the TV with things like The Missing more than I was Breaking Bad.

No way man, I can't agree that it was as pointless or as bad as you make out.

I know a lot of people couldn't get into the later series, but I still think it was a great overall viewing experience!

It's a slow burner but it gets really good and tense once it gets going. He's fantastic in it too.

I only watched the first two seasons of Prison Break and them stopped.

Unfortunately I watched Lost to the bitter end.

I've watched lost 3 times
Loved every minute of it
First time I have ever got angry with a tv programme.

Trouble was for me that the first two seasons were so brilliant.

The fall from grace for me was very, very mighty and by the end I was pretty much hating it.

You didn't let it embrace you
I got the bluray box set, I'm going to start watching it again soon, Best tv series i've ever seen, Best acting, Best characters , Best hype , Best cliff hangers.
I will never forget the first 5 minutes of the second series and how it bamboozled my mind.
I still remember the first advert with everyone dancing on the beach with portishead playing.
I got the first series off the net, seeing that the USA had already aired it, ,and watched 7 episodes in one sitting, it totally overtook my life.
That first flash forward nearly knocked me over.
So so good.
John Locke and his wheelchair reveal, just wow

Season 2 start was what looked like a 70s flash back but was from Desmond in the hatch, and he hears the explosion from season 1 .
Mind blown

yeah and he has to press that button right? or maybe the button reveal came after

had that song on didnt it? downtown?
Simply stunning.
The imagination of it all. bonkers.
I still get people saying to me, ' see I knew they were all dead ' then I have to explain to them that yes they're all dead in the final episode, but not the rest of the series'
I get blank looks, and I'm just stood face palm myself as they missed the point entirely

My mistake I think. It is an Amazon Prime series rather than Netflix.

Well worth a viewing if you have Prime.

Done Homeland which I thought went down the pan as soon as Carrie Matheson became the lead, sexist I know but true!!
Bit of a pattern emerging here man gets bored after a few series.
Dying to try Sopranos but cant find it anywhere.

Another vote for Narcos, great series.
Also enjoyed Bomb Squad. Its a documentary with US bomb disposal teams in Afghanistan. Yes, there is some typical USA whooping and a hollering, but the whole team dynamic and the pressure those guys operate under is unbelieveable.

House of Cards has got to be one of the best things I have ever watched on TV. Kevin Spacey steals just about every scene he is in. Could not stop watching it.

Started watchin Sons of Anarchy but the plot lines got sillier and sillier as it went along to the point that it lost credability. Also have never seen so many 'bikers' with beutiful teeth. They all had a "Hollywood Smile" which made it less believeable for me.

Narcos is well worth a watch. Once you get used to the sub titiles it really is a good series.

Still Game is the next thing for me!!

Have just started watching it but I'm rapidly loosing interest.
The Irish accents are absolutely appalling, amongst the worst put on accents I've heard in any show, up there with Forrest Whitakers English accent in Crying game, and Ron Perlman is like a big droopy dog rather than a psychopathic leader of a motor cycle gang.

I absolutely love The Blacklist, but I think that's on Now TV. (I have both Netflix and Now TV) If you've never watched it, give it a go. Great acting from James Spader. So deadpan yet evil and mean as hell! Brilliant!
