Brian Richardson or Tim Fisher ? (5 Viewers)

I liked Brian Richardson because he actually spoke to the supporters. I wrote to him once because when I got to a game someone was in my seat (season ticket seat) and the stewards left him to it and moved me instead.
Brian Richardson replied to my letter personally and apologised. I never once expected it really, but it was clear he had taken the time to think and then explain why it was easier to move me, rather than allow a situation to develop that could have become hostile.

I look at the current Chairman and it makes me laugh to think I would even bother to write to him over anything even half serious.

Bearing in mind what subsequently happened with the selling of Highfield Road and the financial mess we got into, none of which can be attributed to Tim Fisher prior to his tenure, who comes out best ...er............less unpopular ?

Richardson every time. My best years as a City fan were under him and Id rather have that and ten years of shit than never have it at all. Sisu have increased the debt by as much, also lost us a ground, and got us near relegation to L2. That takes some beating. Fisher is just another punching bag in a long line.

Hindsights a wonderful thing but from current knowledge Tim Fisher, every time!

Richardson for me, few were moaning when we were bringing top class players to the club, would love to see us back in the big time one day, especially for the younger fans who have had to endure nothing but misery.

I nearly revisited my old 'issue' about TF, so as his name is in the thread, I'll do it.
Question (any question to TF) is answered with a pause, followed by a patronising sigh, followed by a condescending answer. Repeat ad nauseum. That is why I find him so difficult to listen to without a severe rise in my blood pressure. The end (is nigh!)

Richardson - we're in this shite situation because of him. BUT he genuinely loved the club and had ambition. Just like us fans.

Seppala has no love or ambition for this club. Won't even sell it now there's no future. Robinson let tens of millions of debt get written off for SISU to step in and get Cov on the cheap - now the cheeky bastards expect to recover their "40 million" debt.

There is no doubt in my view if Richardson had not been forced out we'd either own the Ricoh or still be at Highfield road.

We are where we are due to the gutless spineless oaf mcginnity.

To an extent, I tend to agree but... Robinson's always been the power broker in both cases.

Cricky. This is like being a fly deciding which turd to land on. He royally fucked it up with delusions of grandeur but at least he had ambition for the club so I'd have to reluctantly land on Richardson. That and Fisher has overseen the fastest, deepest rate of decline ever witnessed at the club.

In the end he'd have told Robinson to piss off and put the club into administration wiping all debts at a stroke.
This current season is similar to the season under mginnity post richardson - sell sell sell and screw the club as long as I stay in charge.

No - the decline was under mcginnity. Mike "let's get £60 million in debt not once but twice" mcginnity. Still did a nice little sideline in plastic seats and has a great mate on the FA

The fact you've got that c**t to sign a book says it all. Does he reserve a chapter for the only fan whose ever created an avatar that worshiped sisu and Tim Fisher when they were providing the Wanker with the only car park income in town?

If we had stayed in the PL we would not be in trouble now and we would own the stadium.

If, if, if.

If he hadn't sold Robbie Keane, to pay top dollar back to Robinson and himself and all the others, we would have had a player to score the goals, and wouldn't have had to purchase Bellamy.
If he had sacked Strachan, we may have stayed up.
IF he hadn't invested shit loads of cash on utter shit like Colin Hendry, we may have been able to bolster the squad when we were in trouble, but we didn't.

The list is endless. I wont even start on Fisher, they are both utter pricks.

He is a journalist. They generally cannot be trusted.
Whether it's a newspaper, book, tv programme, phonecall or 1:1 in person - take everything they say with a rather large pinch of salt until you properly experience the evidence they base their claims/reports upon

If I had one bullet I would have to ask them to cuddle each other and hope it passed through.

This pair are not the only guilty ones there is a good list

Robinson
Hover
McGinnity
Sepalla and anything it has employed
Appleton
Elliot

Got your facts wrong here

McGinnity was conned by Richardson as was the rest of the board at the time , hence confidentially clause and Richardson leaving. McGinnity had to try and pick up the mess he left which proved beyond him , he also lost a lot of money

something missing here only 2% of my reply shows

Richardson liar thief McGinnity picked up the mess left by Richardson and lost money himself but unfortunately wasn't up to saving things but the confidentiality clause by Richardson tells us enough about who the thief was

Hey Ho Richardson for King in Grendull world

I said on a previous thread Robinson got swept away with his crazy dreams, he gave us some amazing memories and some players that we can only dream of in the days of Marvin Sordell as our main strike threat.

Fisher has given us nothing much apart from bullshit and a seat over looking the abyss.
