I think you are correct about messing with the team Nick but injuries forced some changes and that's when he had no plan B on selection. Today is a terrible forward line with players all out of position. You then see some players do well only to lose their place or some truly awful players getting a start ahead of themselves (like Tudgay ) or Rose playing FB! and then the manager loses the respect. Jones must be wondering why he is not in today. Then he will be expected to come on and make an impact?
We have lost our way completely I'm afraid under MV.

Look at our games under TM compared to MV...It is a vast improvement...A turnaround doesn't happen over night...
Because Oggy is clueless. He's been given a job for life for some reason
Lot of goalkeepers have played first team football throughout the leagues and at international level over the years have been coached by Oggy. Getting rid of him won't make our first team better will it ?

Well, I don't think it would hurt. For example, he's been coaching Burge for years and I don't think I've ever seen a keeper who kicks so poorly.

I've worked in places where the senior management team are useless and it trickles down like effluent all over everyone no matter how motivated and talented they are at the start. This has to be the problem - how many managers have we tried? They can't all be crap.

Well actually he is simply not just a keeper coach is he? He has influence all day long. Watch him match day on the bench clipboard in hand telling the sub his role as he comes on? Who's the coach again?

This reminds me of last years totally inept performance. Not sure why I bothered to come, not sure I will away again this season!

Been saying this for ages. The club isn't an environment that promotes sustainable success. The past two managers have had short periods of success but ultimately the toxic environment wins and that toxic environment comes from the top.

We could be in the Conference in 18 months. Personally I think that might be the trigger for SISU to move on: tiny crowds and time enough for all court cases to end.

Only now?

I've been that way in my thinking for a couple of weeks now.

Average keepers, leaky defence, wafer thin midfield, strikers who can't score.

Needs major transplant surgery in January to turn this around.

What can I say Otis. I'm an optimist ;). I was positive that we'd pull it round, I'm now positive we won't

We have a good looking midfield. The forward line needs a shake up and we could turn the game around. Surely MV sees this?

Erm....

A good looking midfield?

I would say we have McCann, Stevenson and Rose and that's it.

A couple of good players, but it is very thin and as soon as one of the above is injured or missing, we start to struggle.

The flip side of that would be Burge has looked much improved since he came into the side this season.

I think we can blame the players and manager but I honestly think this goes far deeper. We know we are a club in crisis and big changes are required not tinkering with the team or changing manager. Yet it may give us a few weeks of uplift and false hope but it won't change the fortunes of ccfc

Personally, I don't think he could have been any worse. I'd play RCC over him any day of the week.

I'm struggling to see the difference between this match thread and any other from this season. Very few comments about the match that's going on.

Biggi, McCann, Rose are not lightweight in this league. They should be able to help us push forward with the ball. It's the forward line today that lacks cohesion.

I thought you had been going up the City for years, we have had plenty of terrible kickers.........
Just look at our current strikers be nice if they could at least have a kick towards goal.

I have. 44 to be exact. He's still the worst, but in my own personal view, of course. I wouldn't want to set you off again.
