This will sound strange to many I am sure.
However personally at the moment I feel quite optimistic.

SISU have been forced to admit their only plan (short term). Get the club costing nothing I.e breakeven. Then sit and hope someone comes in with a bid.

Since the firesale sale of Juke just when we were facing relegation I knew SISU's interests were different from the club. You would never sell your top striker when facing relegation to replace him with two untested loanee's for less than 1mlion. If you understood football and understood the true cost of relegation.
Then observing the way SISU did business they won with the rent strike but still tried to go one step further.
They did well to get the club to Northampton again an amazing opportunity to get ACL for the bargain that Wasps did. They again misjudged it and went for more.
Selling Juke, back tracking on the hand shake on the rent deal, Not bidding for ACL when Anne said put your best bid in. I realise these people do not understand when they have a good opportunity and ahways try to push one step further.

I fell into their trap again when they supported Mowbray. When Venus was put on the board aswell I thought finally this is it. They understand they need a football man picking the team. They need a football man influencing the board.

I was wrong "breakeven" is the holy grail more important than promotion, more important than season ticket sales, more important than a cup run. More important than selling merchandise.

The reason I am optimistic is during their reign of mismanagement of our club. They managed to deflect blame, the Council, Wasps, CET, Simon Gilbert, The Higgs charity.

Effectively anybody who stands up against them and says enough this is not right gets attacked and blamed.

This has divided the fans some moving away from the main catalyst of our problems. Yes there are always other issues but there is usually a primary cause. Thanks to the likes of Les Reid they were managing to deflect and aportion blame quite impressively.

Last night for the first time the fans in unison stood up against them. True to form Tim Fisher today was attacking the fans apparently we have .....

Put off potential investors ( now fans showing passion puts off an investor but SISU suing people who do business with them and repeatedly losing and stating the club isn't for sale and presiding over the club battling to avoid its lowest ever league position doesn't !!!)

( what made their shoulders drop in the other 10 defeats, last night was one of their better performances)

Last night was the first time 99% forgot about the other shit SISU deflects you too. Even on here afterwards 99% were proud of the protest.

This is a turning point now Tim Fisher is blaming you the fan for his and SISU's bad decision making.

It is time to stay united keep this momentum up and soon they willl be gone.

I felt proud of what happened last night. Marches outside the ground and petitions have achieved nothing (apart from feeding Gilbert's ego). Last night wasn't about 3 points for me, it was about using the platform to allow people to sit up and take notice.
I think fisher got off lightly on talk sport. Didn't press him enough and both talksport and sky - whilst highlighting performances on the pitch over the last 9 years which helped highlight our plight - didn't mention 18 months left on the Ricoh deal, potentially losing the academy and the selling of ryton. None of that was mentioned on TS, so it was an opportunity missed.
Last night can't be a one off, pressure (public pressure and action at that) has to be sustained to make it even more uncomfortable for them. Otherwise the furore will disappear within a week and we'll be back in our own again with players sold in January and no future.
Eyes will be on us next time we play, so we must do something to maintain the focus.

One last thought. Venus interview after the game was shocking. Sorry MV but when you went upstairs in to the boardroom it became about more than just the stuff on the pitch, you are complicit in the business decisions of the football club now, so you can't hide behind the football.

All this proves is the truth that nobody is pro SISU, and the recent actions have given an opportunity to condemn the club's owners.

If the club or its owners do something worth condemning they get condemned. It'd be nice if this (rather obvious!) point was extended beyond the club's owners too...

If the club is making multi million losses, what other option does it have but to sell players? Is it me or have we only just become a selling club? Are we the only team to sell players?

The Ricoh is a complicated issue that nobody knows the full ins and outs of. I would suggest if someone does they should say. It's too simplistic to just blame SISU. Maybe simplistic sums up the intelligence of some of our fans. AL said ACL was an ok business, she lied. Like Fisher and SISU do. Yet you gobble up everything the other parties say apart from SISU. Is it SISU's fault TM flopped for all of 2016? Did they not put their faith in a respected manager and he failed?

Why is breakeven not the most important thing? The club needs foundations, being breakeven gives it that. It's a base from which to build. Far better than debt being lumped on to it. Surely an investor would be more inclined to invest if the club wasn't making losses?

Deflect blame? So are you saying CCC, Higgs and Wasps have done no wrong? Maybe the blame is just being dished out to people who have done wrong? Would make sense as SISU take most of the blame and abuse. Do CCC not deflect blame also? Were they not the ones who employed a PR company, were they not targetting JS.

Destruction of the club? The club is dying? I don't get all this, it's very melodramatic. The club is fulfilling it's fixtures and paying it's bills. No it's not winning every game as some fans expect but from what I'm aware of, there is no team who wins every game. Internationals? We're a league one club, keep up. We have league one attendences, league one players and a league one budget. We have no divine right to be in the championship or premiership because of catchment area or spending a long time in the top division. Weren't we constantly fighting relegation in the top division? Is it much different to now.

Investors won't want bad press or troublesome fans, so to an extent he has a point. Fans are protesting for what reason? Because we moved to Northampton? Yet we welcome Wasps with open arms? Or we got relegated from the Championship? This happens, it's football. Or is it that SISU aren't investing? Now I expect abuse for this but not overly bothered. Why do we expect a Cayman Island hedge fund to invest in a football club it has no affinity with? Yet people who love and support the club actively withhold money from the club. On some sort of understand that it goes into SISU's pocket, to which there is no proof. Or the idea that they will sell up, which again there is no proof.

We're in a relegation battle but apparently 3 points weren't important the other night? I don't understand the logic behind that.

The club has been riddled with bad decision making for years. It's been subject to inteference from a local council more interested in themselves than the benefit of the city and it's people. That isn't deflecting blame or SISU stooge, it's what it is.

It might be three 3 idiots then because I find it appalling our fans won't stand up to CCC or Wasps. In effect they are doing exactly what CCC and Wasps want. A city of rugby! The club is being run into the ground by ALL parties, we shouldn't let any of them get away with it.

You make the judgement that if you protest against Sisu you must like Wasps or support CCC. Wasps are a franchise and should not be here. CCC sold the Ricoh to Wasps and so dealt the club perhaps a mortal blow. I don't support either of these organisations. What I can see and that you conveniently sidestep is that the sale of the Ricoh to Wasps is a direct consequence of all that Sisu tried to do. You, like Fisher, seem to want to belittle City fans, think they are unable to see things the way they really are. There is nothing wrong with running the club at break even so long as you try and do everything in your power to make that figure as high as it can possibly be. To me Fisher and Sisu do nothing to encourage people to attend games. In fact it seems that they are really not bothered. To increase attendances and so increase that break even figure perhaps Tim could; stop telling lies about building a new ground and about other things, really listen to fans concerns, make an agreement and stick to it that they will not sell emerging talent like Ben Stevenson to the first bidder but will wait until an optimum moment that is best for the club and the player and who we will see the benefit of and who will have the chance to improve the club's position, empathise with and try and understand fans frustrations which lead to protests and pitch invasions rather than condemning them, organise events that don't cost money but increase goodwill such as invitations to ST holders to watch training, organise for players and staff to go out into the community meet people in factories, offices, schools and hospitals in the city and the county, keep up a regular flow of communication with the fans through local media, promote a charm offensive with the local media so that they and the club start to be viewed in a positive light, try and genuinely mend the fences that they have broken so that trust might be built again with local organisations starting with the dropping of court cases. The fact is that Fisher and Sisu do not care about the club and have no intention of doing any of the above and most fans know this. Fisher actually said last night that the fact that Anderson has gone has meant that he now has to concentrate on team affairs and therefore has had to take his eye off finding a new stadium (ha), sorting out the mess of the academy ( that he caused). Well who's fault is that? It is Sisu who have decided that this is the way that they want to run the professional sports club that they own (effectively with a part time chairman). One of his many contradictions last night was that he took a back seat when CA was here and concentrated on his own affairs.(No work there fore on new stadium sites (ha) or the plight of the academy).
The bottom line is that after nine years of their ownership our club is in dire peril because they do not care so long as it costs them no money. The league we are in, the standard of football we play, whether anyone goes to watch any more are all irrelevant to them. This is caused not by Wasps, CCC, the Trust, the Telegraph or anyone else, only Fisher and Sisu. Sisu are the enemy that need to be got rid of. I think it is arrogant to suggest the 99% who see this are wrong but that the 1% category that you seem to be in are correct. Fisher, and perhaps you,need to remember, that the "customer is always right". Most have voted with their feet. Problem is, he doesn't care. If you support this club, perhaps you should.

I think the most interesting point that Fisher made last night was about SISU not wishing to crystallise the loss they have made in CCFC. Surely this is the only reason why SISU are still here and I think he rather let the cat out of the bag on this. I guess we're just at the mercy of accounting within a hedge fund for now, when the time is right for SISU to write off their loss then they'll go.

Whilst the fan base might seem more united at the moment I am struggling to find much to be optimistic about.

It seems that Sisu are determined not to realise their losses and are prepared to let the club's future spiral down in order to achieve that. Until that changes it is going to be very hard to be positive or to expect other decision makers to give a damn.

Yes others need to be involved, need to make decisions to help, have some responsibility for where we are, but by far the biggest responsibility lays with Ccfc owners, the decisions they have made and the inability to adapt in any way to a changing environment. Hiding behind what everyone else has done to shelter rank bad management and strategy does not cut it in any business.

I think last night Fisher confirmed one thing. Sisu have no interest in the club. Now it's at break even, it cost them nothing to sit on the club, it doesn't matter to them what league we are in as long as they keep the club going. it let's them hold the club to ransom till all avenues of court action have been exhausted. Only then will they sell. It's that simple. There is no other motive or agenda. No new stadium, training ground or academy and certainly no investment. As much as I support the protests it won't make a difference they don't care or even take notice.

Never said if you protest against SISU you support Wasps and CCC. What I said was all parties are to blame and should be brought to task for it. Why is that so hard to comprehend? The sale to Wasps is a result of action SISU took? You know that for sure or it's your opinion. Apart from misleading comments made to the public by all parties. AL 'washing it's face' to TF 'we have two sites'. They are all as bad as each other. None of the parties have shown they have CCFC's interests at heart. You describe the sale to Wasps as perhaps a mortal blow, this has been instigated by egos and self interest at all parties. Wasps and SISU want to make money at any cost. CCC just want to play big business people. None thought of the clubs future when taking the actions they have.
I don't want to see Ben Stevenson sold or any other promising youngster, I want them to be the future of the team. Lads who have come through the academy and appreciate the opportunity given by the club to show what they can do. Who work hard to have successful careers with the club. If the player then outgrows the club, I have no problem with him being sold. I accept that most clubs sell players but as you mention, preferably at the best price. Problem is due to the atmosphere created around the club and amongst the fanbase, by SISU and CCC. With results also bad, as you mention attendences will fall. I don't think anyone thinks the clubs marketing, PR and general approach is good enough. On another thread Nick made some good points as to what they could do. You mention some to. We have to get them to listen, I just don't think demanding they sell up will work.
Maybe we could as a fanbase agree on 3 points we think can be improved and how at minimal cost. Then protest for them to implement them. I know it shouldn't be this way, but if we want SISU gone, I think we're going to have to help them make the club more attractive.

What do you think was the purpose of the move to Northampton? I am sure that even one of the judges mentioned that this was a move to purely distress ACL. For CCFC it was a disaster and a decision that has lead to further catastrophic fall out for our club.
Fisher and Sisu have demonstrated time and time again that they have no regard for our club no regard for our fans. Why is that going to change now? I like your idea of three ways to improve the club. We can all think of simple low cost things that would improve the situation. Why can't they? After Fisher's performance yesterday it is clear that he and they simply don't care. I don't and never will trust them and I think most people feel that way. They have to go.

The club is at an impasse. the 'SISU' lot have run us into the ground by poor management of a football club. 90% of their decision making has been appalling.
Given that there is of course blame for this reaction from SISU's management of our club firmly in others court too including the council, ACL, Higgs and of course the original dealings of Mr Ranson.
Instead of complaining about this and that, how about you put all to one side for a moment to pause and give us your idea of what should be done?
Please don't just state SISU must go....that's not directly the answer is it?
Please don't say we can then see new owners come in and we are back on the gravy train to success?

Just how can this club realistically get out of this impasse?

I can't see a route in for any potential new owners currently and probably why there are none to be found.
So what's the bigger picture? Is it that we keep the club treading water, provide a budget equal to many clubs in this league and hope a manager can gain promotion?
If not what's the alternative? ...the actual alternative if SISU somehow are ousted from control as so many protesters want? What comes immediately next?

It's a crying shame to see what has become of us since we moved from Highfield Road. There are no magic wands to put right what has happened but we do have to make the club 'saleable' to get rid of SISU running our football club. Protesting and assuming they will just walk away is short sighted. It may highlight our plight within football circles but I don't think many will care about us elsewhere and isn't going to bring any changes in the immediate future. If anything it highlights what a basket case we are.
I'd rather see protest directed at what can be achieved such as getting SISU to the table with WASP and others...make the protest purposeful. Direct the protest with intent, raising awareness on each problem area that needs addressing rather than a blanket 'SISU' out campaign. protest the football league and the FA to investigate.

The FA and the FL will fully support the owners. The only action they will take is a penalty for a pitch invasion. The owners have broke no rules and the league will bend over backwards to support them.

I think Grendel is right the FA and FL will not take any action against the owners at this stage. But surely there must come a time when brand Football is being damaged and the spineless governing bodies have to act. What action do you think might lead the FL and FA taking drastic action?

The FA and the FL will fully support the owners. The only action they will take is a penalty for a pitch invasion. The owners have broke no rules and the league will bend over backwards to support them.

Well they should be careful about bending over as it is now coming to bite them on the arse.
As for backing the owners they are now being investigated for all the mismanagement in their own ranks so should really be wary of who they mix with at the moment.

If really is time for a genuine full NOMP.
Unfortunately if the 35 million of debt starts to grow they will have no choice but to go for administration.

Think it through logically. We know SISU are partial to legal action so the FA / FL would want to be certain any action they took would hold up should they be dragged in to court.

At the moment the reality of the situation is other parties are giving SISU everything they need. Should they decide to leave the Ricoh again they can point to Wasps refusal to speak with the club. Should they want to move out of the city they can point to the council trying to kill any deal to play at the Butts before it even started.

What else are they going to take action on? You can't punish the clubs owners for refusing to run the club at a loss no matter how much we might not like it and crave millions being put in to mount a promotion challenge.
