If you want a target man then surely you have to look at Ageyi? It would make sense to look at 4-4-2 as our best players so far this season would fit in to this system. If we were to go down this route I'd play the following:

Gk: RCC
RB: Sterry/DKE
LB: Page
CB: Willis
CB: Turnbull/Stokes
RM: Jones/Ruben
LM: Reid
CM: Bigi/Ben
CM: Rose/McCann
ST: Sordell
ST: Ageyi

I still think we need a new GK and an out and out goalscorer. A bit of bite in the middle wouldn't go a miss either

Why would he be a target man? He can't hold the ball up or header. He gets pushed off the ball like he isn't there.

If you tell him his remit is to be a target man then you train on those traits all week. If not then you get a target man in during January

Plus you can only work with what you got at the minute. Wright is one of the worst players I've seen wear a city shirt and Tudgay must be made of rubber as everything bounces off him! Kwame Thomas is made of glass so who else does that leave as George is too small for that role, maybe McBean?

I'd sooner have a new player in every position other than GK. Simply do not understand the obsession with needing a new GK. Between Burge and RCC we've got two good L1 goalkeepers. We don't have many other positions where we've got one good L1 player, let alone two.

I would rather have george thomas over agyei far superior player in every way except height anyway agyei and wright are exactly the same type of player with no first touch and neither of them will be here.

I agree they are more than capable GK but I've always been of the feeling that an experienced GK would challenge the young lads and also help out on the training ground.

I was talking theoretically and with the squad at my disposal at this very moment. IMO the only loans we should extend are Sterry and Page while look at bringing in a striker. I think George should get a run of games in the team also but I feel he is L2 at best

What's everyone's opinion on Ryan Haynes? Really like how he plays and he looks good for the short and long term future. Would like to see him as a regular

Dan Agyei has the build of a target man but really is too inexperienced and unable to play the roll that a experienced target man would at this stage in his career. In what we've seen of him he's not all that great in the air and seems to shy away from a header.

Ryan Haynes is a better winger for me than a left back, only worth retaining as a back up winger in league 2 if that's our destination.
