Where did I post this?
I was on about cc4life, was on phone so said on the "other post"
Where he said it was only £200 a player to get the presents.
Where did I post this?
you are arguing. you are getting defensive.why?
its like when i mentioned how ccfc could learn from wasps in terms of entertaining kids. and Nick comes out with "ccfc put on a little table with felt tip pens!"
weird. noones having a go at ccfc(not me anyway) , im just saying i think more can be done based on what ive read.
I'm not getting defensive. Players turned up with hospital with present for the kids. Nothing negative, nothing that needs arguing about. But it seems that's not good enough for some. One says not enough turned up and you go into how much a DVD player costs. Doesn't need to be analysed.
why not? you don't want improvement? its a good thing for sure, inf act i said it was great earlier. just saying it could and should have been even greater for the kids and hospital.
if you were hit by a car and police turned up but not ambulance would you say hey im just happy with what i got lol
No, I usually point out you don't really know what CCFC do.
If the players have put in £200 each to give to the local hospitalised kids then fair play to them.
And post #3.

But WHY should it have been more? As I said to you earlier, what is YOUR benchmark for genuine, caring hospital visits for a football club.
You second sentence is just ridiculous and nothing to do with the thread.
fair play lol. 200 quid? when they make probably 2k a week! WEEK
lol fair play
ahahah
So if the players have chipped in to buy the kids at the party a selection box again, should we tell them it's not enough?
we should always strive to improve and give more to the needy. that goes for me and you not just footballers. but this thread is about footballers.

Because the players are kids heroes. What if Jones (for example, don't get pedantic) is a certain kids favourite player, and he didn't get a chance to see his/her hero because only 3 of the squad could be arsed to turn up?
Just to be clear ( I know how pedantic you are), I'm sure the kids that did receive a visit were delighted with the surprise. But naturally if their favourite players weren't there, there would be an element of some disappointment.
Surely even you can understand that, I've tried to put it as simply as I can?

entirley up2u
i am sure they can do better than selection box though and i would hope they would.
at no point have i said people should complain to club or players. ive just said i think they can do more
you have got all defensive and gone into keyboard warrior mode for some reason.
What if they didn't support CCFC? Man Utd wankers for not sending Zlatan?
hes having a nightmare lolOnly you could come up with that response, well done.
Again, how do you know they "couldn't be arsed"? Where did you get that fact from?
Why weren't more there then? You seem to know?
hes having a nightmare lol
No, you've said they can't be "arsed" or were shopping for jeans, I've not given any reason.
Only you could come up with that response, well done.
If you re-read post #82 and #83, you should find your response.
Please, read properly, and carefully
he didn't get a chance to see his/her hero because only 3 of the squad could be arsed to turn up?
exactly. both sides of it(no improvements needed vs improvements benefit kids) have no idea what the players do week in week out unless advertised. so silly for one to use the argument of do you know what they do vs the other side.
i cant believe this thread has turned into an argument i must say. kinda sad.
Yes, where you said:

lol fair play
ahahah
clearly on any given week you donate more than 10% of your wage to charity. Fair play to you
nick please stop flamebaiting or i will report you.
this is a thread about charity are you are making it about yourself.
200 per player is pathetic. if you think its alot for someone on 2k a week i dread to think what donations you make yourself!
charity starts at home i suppose?
thank you. bench mark is 15% though. and when spend on a gambling accumulater or a video game etc it shows how its simply not enough if you think about it.
always strive to improve people!

I don't believe personally, the gifts are in question.
It's the lack of players turning up, that's the main issue IMO. Surely you can agree or see where I'm coming from?
My main points Nick. The bold is a direct question to you and Torch.
