Slade's Budget ? (9 Viewers)

If the budget is too tight then players(s) will be sold won't they? Stevenson, RCC & Jones are the main assets.
If we got a decent offer for either RCC or Burge I would say let one go. They can't both play and there's since Burge's recent improvement there's not really much between them.

Even if at the end of August there was a notional budget for January, that will have been swallowed by the drop in gates. I don't know what basis the budget was set on, but, if it was last season's average 12,570 it's going to be down somewhat.

You've got to remember that's the total budget for the whole team, including wages of the dross that was already here like Rickets (gone yay) and Tudgay etc.

So say we have 20 first team players all on 2k a week, that's over 2mil a year gone. Plus any fees we spent.

Hopefully sending every loan player back in Jan will free some wage budget

If we are paying 20 players almost double the league average and still have this shit squad, someone needs shooting.

Haha had no idea that was double the league average...read Astutes post as it was lower than average?

Even so it wouldn't surprise me with this seasons recruitment campaign. We've also had people like Tudgay and fortune who are terrible and I suspect on a decent packet

He should be able to send all the loan players back at the end of the year and bring his own in.

2m doesn't go far. 2k a week is said to be lower average. That is over 100k a year. That is then over half used just for the players on the pitch. Add the subs and you have used 3/4 of it.

Astutes assumption was, as always, incorrect.

Spade's budget?

I think this thread needs to be buried, never to be dug up again.

Someone will be sold anyway, Fisher has already mentioned it.

Also how is RCC a main asset? I'd let him go for nothing.

Unlike captain dart he's not just a name on a forum - you've seen him play.

This is probably the last throw of the dice to save the absolute decimation of season ticket sales next year. If i were SISU ,looking at the atmosphere and league position i might be tempted to ease a bit more cash in to the system to give slade a chance.

So how much are our players on? You seem to know everything whilst knowing fook all.

My feeling is our wages budget is now significantly less than last season. Virtually all the senior players have gone and been replaced in most cases by youngsters on their first senior contract
Even Sam Ricketts salary has probably gone as a player as he was forced to retire. This often triggers players pension payments
He may still be on the payroll as a coach but this is normally at a lower rate

To be fair I'm talking basic rather than total pay packet with win bonuses and the like.

Still, Id argue we haven't got 20 players worth £2k a week in any form.

I'd argue that we haven't got anyone worth 1k a week :shy: :shifty:

A direct question to Tim Fisher needs to be asked then should anyone be sold in January will any of that money go towards getting players. Over to you Eakin and Foster.
Any money raised by selling player's will go into the running of the football club, a QUOTE by Fisher.

It's so SISU don't have to put any more money into the Club .

So to answer your question ,very little will go towards getting player's in.

Well no - you quoted a wage in your calculation they was well above the average. I was correcting your mis calculation.

And still waiting for you to say how much players in Division 3 can earn. Or are SISU not using anywhere near the 60%?

The average wage is £69,700 which suggest most clubs are nowhere near the 60% I would have thought

Does the average wage include young players that are on much less than seasoned pro's
