If that's the reason then its a very poor reflection on ACL. Will be interesting to see if its the whole ground or just corporate. If its just in corporate that would suggest that rather than looking at the operation as a whole they are closing down any individual component that doesn't make money to screw every last penny out of CCFC with little regard for the matchday experience of our fans.
On the basis of what has happened with other things since the Wasps takeover everything that isn't in the contract down to the smallest detail seems to be viewed as an area to screw the club over for more money.
Another example of the club being screwed over. There's no operational reason for this, a deadline 24 or 48 hours before the match would suffice for that.
So cutting out losses and not getting this income source from CCFC or its fans is taking every last penny off CCFC how exactly? Looking at it from ACL point of view it makes them more profit by not taking a penny off CCFC for hot food in hospitality. Any business would and should look at areas where it makes losses and try to cut them out. Its pretty much what CCFC are doing to get to breakeven. It isnt up to ACL or Wasps to provide the CCFC fans with match day experience, let alone at cost or loss to their own business unless contracted to do so. It isnt up to them to subsidise CCFC.
By cutting out losses on F&B means that the pot that CCFC gets a share of is greater surely? BTW the club gets 50% of the net profit which equates to 15% of the Turnover, without contributing to cost or risk. I would think that this season the pot however is a lot smaller because of the smaller crowds
Any business will look to bill for all the goods or services it provides. Anything outside contract is an extra and billable or doesnt have to be provided unless CCFC agrees to pay for it
Think the concourse outlets are open as usual.
If, i dont know for sure, they are reverting to contract then doesnt the logic of that mean that up till now they were providing stuff that was not contracted for as part of the deal possibly at no cost to CCFC.
What business including CCFC would continue providing another business with services that causes them losses, and are outside the agreed contract. Could just be ACL/Wasps running their business properly rather than subsidising from their own funds another business. But yes it degrades the CCFC experience, shouldnt be beyond the wit of man to get something agreed though should it. And no that is not me just blaming CCFC. Both sides need to work together for mutual benefit
Shouldnt be the situation should it - but it seems to point to the operational relationship breaking down now too - we have always been assured that was working well.
