What is the point of the whistles? It just seems like a desperate attempt for attention.

Guys let's be clear on this, the whistle blowing today was not in any way related to the Sisu protests like the Sheffield united match. If it was I could forgive it to an extent.

The whistles today were a clear attempt to put off the botlon players when attacking and it backfired spectacularly

That's hard. Gutting. That would have been 3 absolutely mammoth points. Conceding late goals is a proclivity we need to cut out. I've only heard the whistle mentioned on here, so if it did have an effect then I hope the fan responsible puts and end to that.

Bolton didn't sound all that special. We certainly seem to have improved and the three signings sounded reasonably impressive, especially Beavon. Let's hope we can kick on now, and drag ourselves away from danger.

Good point today. Always disappointing to give away an equaliser so late on, but we would have taken a draw before the game.

Thought Beavon was brilliant. Just the sort of player we have been crying out for.

Thought George Thomas was excellent too and it's the best game I have seen Turnbull play.

Thought Clarke was strong and we played with such passion and spirit. That could take us a long way.

Tudgay worked his socks off and fought for everything.

Only thing I am really annoyed with is Haynes's ridiculous penalty shocker. Clear pull of the shirt when the ball was heading out most likely for a goal kick.

Anyway, keep playing that we will be fine.

There's a time and place for it, like I say if it was part of a larger protest I could forget about it but it wasn't part of the protest, it was to try and put off the opposition and backfired.

Slade just given very positive, honest and up beat post match interview. No mention of a whistle influencing anything, and I am sure he is the type to point it out if that had influenced their 2nd goal.

I just feel sorry for the players here as they were fucked up by their own fans thick deluded actions

Where is your proof nobody has mentioned it in post match interviews. I know I would if it had cost me two points as a player.

Someone mentioned a minute ago, that Sterry and Reilly stopped at the fans whistling, and consequently, Bolton equalised.

Gutting to concede another equaliser in stoppage time. Oh well, the sign are encouraging.

I think we need to drop the whistle thing guys.

I don't think it affected the game. I sit on halfway and didn't hear it.

There is no way to legislate for people bringing whistles. You can't do full body searches outside the ground. Far too many people had whistles to target them individually.

I think it's very silly to blow whistles intermittently but it had been going on for 20 mins why suddenly stop that one time

I think you're looking for stuff not there

Be good if it was stopped though

Because it was clear, and sounded like the refs?

Same as when their players complained to the ref about it, bet they are pissing themselves now.

Didn't see Haynes giving away the pen as I was still laughing at the Bolton player who'd been lamped seconds earlier, but the way he responded with that run to make Beavon's goal, to think it's the same player who threw up on the pitch due to nerves on his debut.

They grow up so fast x

Really enjoyed today, that is thr passion, work rate and intensity that has been missing since November 2015.

Beavon was brilliant, Thomas was quality, Clarke was fantastic at thr back and Reilly did really well too.

If we continue to play like that for the rest of the season, with am added bit of quality then we will be OK.

love the way slade talks about the game.

It was a definite pen, thought Thomas was onside, whistles were annoying and need to stop.

Proof? Ears and eyes.
I am totally against the whistles but nothing has come from the manager or players. Surely if it cost us a goal when leading they should mention it.

Oooo.
Did you hear them on the radio again.
If you were blowing a whistle today last you should have your lips sewn tightly closed, it clearly stopped reilly in his tracks and caused the equaliser.... Everyone blowing whistles today are guilty for us losing not the team
